This was my whole life, Mariokart Wii came out DAYS after I was born and I've been playing it ever since 2012, I never remember doing all the wifi and shortcuts, we just had family night races for fun. I have a Wii U but still love MKW more than MK8 due to the amazing work of CGI and how similar it was to Mariokart Double Dash.

Guillermo Montoya ghost valley 2 is easy use daisy mach bike and shroom right before the shortcut (and turn right) you will go a lot farther then just normal also you should hop over the jump at the end

Finally, nailed it!!! Took me about 20 miutes to practice it, but got there in the end. Got sick of racing online with a load of 9000+ players, always doing it. If you can't beat 'em......join 'em!!! Now to try work out that bastard bowser castle short cut. Don't think I've got much chance there!

This glitch can be a bit tricky, even once on the platform you have to drive to just the right spot for it to count the lap. I often would miss it, and by the time it starts counting laps the rock is falling...

It took me 3 years to realize this ultra glitch. I'm very disappointed that Wiimmfi banned this ultra shortcut due to many players doing this ultra shortcut in online play. If only a few people knew about this ultra shortcut then this wouldn't be banned since GBA Bowser Castle 3 shortcut is legal. I remember that I would always get 1st place everytime I take the ultra shortcut

I always drive around the rock perfectly on the 1st and 2nd laps but on the 3rd I’m always screwing up my best time with this is about 54 seconds using the shortcut ( yes I’m slow ) Edit: it’s now 45 seconds and I got the hang of the rock driving

You have roll over the ridges on the first turn and the final turn. Just stay to the out side. If you hug the wall it won't work.

I saw a video about it, in a nutshell the map have 5 checkpoint but there is a way to pass only trought the last one and the finish line and count a lap, basically you have to pass throught the last checkpoint and then throught the finish line checkpoint out of bounds (thing done been on that island), the checkpoint are near the northest and southest part of the island, try to be near these points and you would make a new PB
