that's because the soundtracks were both composed and arranged by Yoko Shimomura who also does the soundtracks for Live A Live, Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario.

So yeah, this is totally a lost KH battle theme There's only one place I can picture it: Scala field battle, if it were explorable. ​Either that, or possibly something in BBS. It kinda has that vibe, too.

@山田一宏 The PSF & PSF2 files the games' music files are in have both a soundfont & a MIDI. DS files are the best though. Playstation rips can have a lot of errors, but DS ones are pristine, like this one. The midi was taken straight from the game files & worked perfectly.

Dang, it pretty much sounds like the same song but higher quality. Guess that's what happens when you're just taking another one of Yoko's songs, yeah? Probably a lot of similar elements.

Oh yeah, she's got plenty of stylistic signatures that make it so A: You instantly know it's her, & B: They work great when converted to other fonts from her work. When you use relatively the same set of instruments between different works, that makes it really easy.

Looking into it. I'm not sure there's an easy way to rip MIDIs from Arcade files. They use VGZ files, which are really hard to work with. I tried the same thing with Tekken 2's arcade OST, but no dice.

Hello, if you found the soundfont on glitchkille or got it from someone else, it most likely came from me, and after finally getting back into doing remixes, I find that it has been removed from my PC and someone has hacked glitchkill and taken down BOTH KH 1 and KH 2 soundfonts, please if you can link me to the font you have.
