To those wondering this is Antasma's castle. Antasma though being the polite gentlemen vampire that he is let Bowser name the castle after himself. In the end after Antasma and Bowser were defeated Bowser began reconstructing the castle East of Doop Doop Dunes and began running an underground mining operation to harvest fire ore as means to make it fly once more. New Bowser's Castle is eventually completed but Antasma's influence over it is completely lost and Bowser now fully operates the castle So basically Bowser not only betrayed Antasma but took what was left of his castle, rebuilt it, and took it for himself.

@@kassidyryzer2909 What's funny is he initially started off as a joke character who's suffering was done at the expense for a cheap laugh. As shown in Superstar Saga. But now look at Bowser. He's the main villain of Paper Jam. 2 of him actually. My guess is that Bowser just had enough. Every game some villain would walk all over him. Heck he probably knew even Antasma was planning to use him and by the end of Dream Team he just had enough and naturally snapped. Bowser could only handle so much with being walked over by other threats before he thought enough was enough. Now the tables have turned and Bowser is now the greatest threat in the M&L games. I would like to see a sequel to Paper Jam released for the Switch one day just to see where Bowser's story would continue from there. It seems they were setting him up to became the main antagonist of the M&L series with Paper Jam after all. Another thing worth noting is that the Mario Bros basically were removing all competition that would hinder Bowser's reign. Cackletta, Elder Princess Shroob, Fawful, Antasma. They were the villains that prevented Bowser form his full potential. What happened? Well the Bros killed them all and by doing so Bowser no longer has any other villains to keep him in check. He now calls all the shots and has become a full blown tyrant.
