Thank you so much for playing this game Jirard. This was my childhood game and i played it for countless of hours with multiple play throughs. Even though i'm 18 now i play it to this day. I was so glad to see that you acknowledged the humor the game has and the flushed out character development between the two brothers. That is exactly why i love this game. Because of how much they show the relationship between them and just how quirky and goofy they are. Gah i don't always comment on videos but when i do i go off on a dumb cheesy paragraph. The spoiler section was stupid. I couldn't watch episodes about games I hadn't played because I wanted to know if I should bother completing them or not, but I didn't want to know story spoilers, and skipping the spoiler section with the button wouldn't ONLY skip the story stuff, but ALSO all the completion stuff, making the video pointless. I'd have to go digging through the video trying to find where the story spoilers ended and the completion stuff began so I could watch the part I wanted to watch without seeing the part I didn't want to watch, but then by searching through the video LOOKING for that part, I'd end up seeing story stuff in the spoiler section! It was a nightmare and wasn't worth it so I stopped watching the videos. I'm glad the spoiler section is gone. Jirard's reviews aren't about the story, they're about the completion aspect of the gameplay: what it takes to complete the game and what you GET for completing the game. Unless the completion bonus is story-related, like a bonus ending or something, there's no reason to include story spoilers at all in a review about completing a game and unlocking everything in it.

I got my copy of it when I was in the 6th grade and I loved it and do a run of it at least 2 times in a year whenever my big brother gets the time to visit when he gets time off working overseas. i remember when I was 4 years old, and playing this on my GBA. 2 years later, my brother got to emulate the game on my old PSP. I never finished the game, but I still remember having so many good memories about the game. it was really fun. the farthest I can remember getting is a boss with a red jelly thing. anyways, the game is fun is what I'm trying to say. And if you have a chance to play the game, I would recommend the game.

I played through some of Super Mario RPG legend of the seven stars (fifth one I played) I beat super saga (it was the first. one I played and it's still my favorite) I played through part of partners of time. (third one I played) I beat bowsers inside story (it's the second one I played) I played only the demo for dream team (4th one...) I beat paper jam (was the fourth one I played.)

I think you should go in order for the series as they tie in together. Plus, it would make sense. I really glad you did a video on this series. It's amazing. I'm not sure if its the biggest spoiler but I feel like there should have been some mention of the Advanced! system in battle as it was one of the coolest additions I have seen in an rpg. It really makes you feel like the characters and you yourself progress together as you learn stronger moves.

The Mario RPGs and games inspired by them are really the only RPGs I can enjoy. Others just feel padded out and chore-like, and only get away with their mediocre gameplay because of their storylines, which I don't care for. If I want a story I would read a book or watch a movie. I think that more RPGs should take inspiration from the Mario RPGs. The mixed turn-based real-time battle systems they use are very enjoyable, and the games don't have like 20 billion stats per character, and grinding in these games is heavily discouraged.
