It'd be funny if orb spaces had reactions for continuously landing on them without the requisite items. Like, the second time toady shows up in a row with no orb to take, he's like "aww, again? get some orbs next time, will ya?", and then the third time he's like "seriously? no orbs? again? why do i even bother, waste of my time...", and the fourth time in a row, there's a few seconds of delay after you've landed on the space where nothing happens, and then toadsworth gets all flustered about toady not even bothering to show up.

One thing I noticed for Show stopper: The Goomba is kinda a good measurement for time. His up and down movement is more or less a second. Like up is one and down is one... It's not 100% accurate but for shorter numbers is it actually good enough

I wish there were bonus star pools, like stars for getting good things, like winning the most minigames or landing on the most dk spaces, stars for getting neutral things, like landing on happening spaces or using orbs, and stars for bad things, like losing the most coins over the course of the game or spending the most turns in last place, and at the end of the game, one bonus star is chosen from each pool. I also wish there were an option to double bonus stars, so games would use 6 bonus stars instead of 3, or even convert them into bonus ztars to force you to avoid as many as you can.

After watching like 20 hours of mario party 7, I've come to the conclusion those mic minigames really make the game go longer in this mario party it feels. Because several rely on the players taking turns, it makes them both take and feel much longer. Then the mic minigame space adds even more time. It kinda breaks up the gameplay in a way that cuts the suspense and the minigames arent particularly interesting in and of themselves.

Gen Y has always been gen Y. Millenial, much like zoomer, is usually considered a slur or pejorative when not used ironically or in a discussion about the usage of the word. Also cooking is a more important skill than laundry because the quality of food increases the more it is made from scratch. Even minimal processing generally reduces the nutrition and affects flavor. Highly processed foods though are loaded with fillers and preservatives that may not always be harmful, but definitely aren't nutritious. As for easy foods, chili, curry and soups are easy once you have all your ingredients. Chili, you can dump canned (red, black, garbanzo, pinto) beans and corn in a big pot with a can of crushed tomatoes, add a bunch of garlic powder, cayenne, cumin and other spices, bring to a brief boil stirring well and you have a bean chili. If you want meat, put some water in the bottom of the pot before cooking and cook the meat thoroughly, drain excess water and add the cans. If you want to go further for even higher quality, cook from dry beans or add fresh vegetables like cilantro, onions or peppers. Pancakes, pizza and other bread products are also easy mode cooking, especially with a bread machine or if you learn related skills like growing sourdough or brewing kefir on sugar water. You can put kefir in dough and leave it a while to ferment and naturally rise. Technically all you need is flour, water and a leavener for the most basic bread products, but you can add a little egg, milk, spices or sugar to improve the taste and texture. Cakes and muffins should be a thickish batter, doughs should be solid. Pasta and rice are also easy. Boil them in water for a few minutes, drain and put on lowish heat and toss in sauce and cheese and stir for a few minutes. I just open a can of crushed tomato, add spices, mix, dump on the pasta and mix again. Again, you could even work up to making your own noodles and add vegetables and meat.

on the topic of "player order determining positioning in Hop-O-Matic" that is a thing that holds true across mario party games and several different mini-games where there might be player positioning/order for example here Clock Watchers also has 1st player go first. In other minigames let's say 4 player ones usually person going first is top left, 2nd top right, 3rd bottom left, 4 bottom right. (if the things are in the corners) etc. it is just a pattern that is true across many mario party games for most minigames. let me also give an example with a 1-vs.-3 Minigame... from MP5 you have squared away, let's say the person 2nd in player order is the solo player the solo player always starts in the top left, the remaining players are placed in reading order meaning the 1st player will be top right; 3rd bottom left and 4th in player order in the bottom right

Dude, Zike, cooking is in fact a very important life skill. Other teachers would whine about their millennial kids to me, how they'd get phone calls about how to do extremely basic things like shaken'bake. Start with scrambled eggs and chicken salad (for sandwiches!) using canned chicken breast. Very easy. I like orange pepper and Vidalia onion in my chicken salad

I wish pink boo showed up on windmillville. It could totally work, the effect would just need to be slightly different. Instead of stealing a star, it checks if the target has a windmill. If they do, it picks a random windmill they have (preferring ones that the target has invested at least 20 coins in), and transfers 20 coins from their stake in it to the owner of the space, creating a 40 coin difference. Very likely to transfer ownership, but not guaranteed, but it could potentially get you a windmill worth multiple stars so I think overall it's just as good.

I think it would be totally feasible for them to release a combination of just Mario Party 6 and 7. 12 boards, now with Bowser Time events for the Mario Party 6 boards and day/night events for the Mario Party 7 boards, and you can choose which to use or even use both at once for some extra chaos. Plus, even better, Infernal Tower, Astro Avenue, and Thirsty Gulch redesigned to support a full game, or reworked and combined into one board if creating 3 new full boards is too much. You could call it Mario Party Superstars: 6 and 7. Just make it a subtitle.

So, concerning generation names etymology: Silent Generation: Named so for a lack of political activism following the World Wars. Baby Boomers: The most well-known, as this was a great population increase. Generation X: Actually named so for a similar reason to the Silent Generation, in that they were characterized by the previous generation as being unconcerned with societal pressures. They X'ed out the "rules" the Boomers set. Generation Y / Millenials: Set to follow the trend set by Gen X, but the Millenial name is more widely used. Generation Z / Zoomers: Continuing the trend, but now that Boomers are dragging so much down by refusing to pass power down, their in our head so we combined the Z with Boomer. Though the two generations couldn't be more different. Gen Alpha: Guess we're restarting with the greek alphabet, but also the first generation to be entirely within the new century and millennium.

1:38:48 Honestly, I think the generation naming thing is pointless and arbitrary. The whole Baby Boomer thing I'm pretty sure came around well after that generation had actually grown a fair deal. The Gen X thing I actually think had something to do with being an ignored generation (by history?) and the X being like "nothing". The decision to call the following generation Gen Y is dumb and lacking creativity. Millennial at least reflects being the generation who grew up in the post-Y2K world--though Millennials are also the generation who quite literally grew up alongside the internet. The Gen Z name sounds at least a little better than "Gen Y" but as said here: why? "Zoomer" is also super lacking in creativity and was granted so early that the generation really hadn't even made any historical impact. I would personally argue that the only good thing about "Zoomer" is that it was a self-fulfilling prophecy since so many of that generation had to experience the chaos that was forced distance learning. All this to say: I agree. The names suck.

Speaking on the life skills thing. Learning how to cook should be one of the highest. You don't need to know gourmet techniques but bare minimum be able to prepare some sort of dish from scratch so you know you have access to a clean healthy sustainable food source. Clean clothes are nice but not essential to life. You can survive naked, you cannot survive without food.
