Nintendo didn’t localized Mario games to Portuguese until Super Mario 3D Land (for Portugal) and Super Mario Run (for Brazil). Mario Party Superstars was the first Mario game with Brazilian Portuguese on one of their consoles, but they are inconsistent when localizing Mario games on Portuguese. For example, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is localized in Portuguese (both Brazil and Portugal) but the remakes of Super Mario RPG, Mario vs. Donkey Kong and Paper Mario: TTYD they're not in said language. Princess Peach: Showtime!, Super Mario Party Jamboree and Mario & Luigi: Brothership are localized in Brazilian Portuguese, but not European Portuguese (Portugal). And Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is localized in Portuguese (Portugal) but not on Brazilian Portuguese.
