A little correction: I’m pretty sure Mario only promised to let Boyfriend go if he beat 3 songs, because right after he says that Girlfriend is gonna pay for what her father did, he turns to boyfriend and says “You, on the other hand” and only then he makes the deal. He also doesn’t say “Beat me and I’ll let you guys go”, no instead he says “Beat me and I’ll let you go”, only referring to one person. That might also be the reason why Boyfriend fled the scene after Starman Slaughter, because he wanted to leave with Girlfriend, but Horror Mario wouldn’t allow that.

Fun fact: at the end credits the song "a mad world without you" play while Ultra M is singing, in the lyrics M is saying how he regrets killing bf and saying why isn't he satisfied, it's because M was Trapped in the game for very long time and was lonely. The characters we fought don't count because as he said "they all are apart of his game" in typical way "Revenge is not the way"

I can’t explain what happens in the classified series since my brain can’t comprehend the amount of lore and forgot a lot about it but here is explanation of the song “Promotion” that I can remember. In the cutscene, Mario is shown hosting a show. This is supposed to be an episode of a show called Nintendo Mania. (if that was name) The show was supposed to be a show that show the hottest game releases and the first game shown was Super Mario 64. As what he said in the video, the second part of the song is taken over by a character named “Stanley”. Stanley is AI in the game of Super Mario 64. The series shows how every copy of SM64 is personalized. (Tho I can’t remember what else). Luigi is shown on TV next to Mario. In the promotional video from the series, Mario is hosting the show (obviously) and since he can’t show SM64, he asks Luigi to do a tour (or something like that) of the game. While Luigi keeps exploring the castle, he finds himself in an underwater section of the castle. He finds coins to regain Power. Though, he slowly gets lost and eventually runs out of coins, thus leading to his demise. This is also what “Thalassophobia” is based on and the coin notes in the song. In the second part of the song, Mario is then taken over by Stanley, the Ai. I don’t remember if he mimics the form of Mario but do know that Stanley is appeared as a deformed Mario with missing textures (hat logo, button on overalls, etc.). If it’s true that Stanley mimics Mario’s form, this is because he is an Ai that (I think) can only talk through text towards the player. That’s I can remember from the series. I know I missed a lot of things and got things incorrect so if you remember the series, please tell me. Though, for anyone reading this right now, if you never watched the series (which I think most of you did), go check out the series. It’s honestly good and there’s still questions left unanswered in the series. Anyways this was written at 3:54 AM currently. Thanks for the explanation! One small mistake however, the coin notes are from Thalassophobia, the song based on L is Real. Classified Luigi’s Abandoned has those switch notes that lower the water level.

I really liked this video. My only real issue with it is that I feel like you could've been more specific on why you like each song music-wise. Even if you don't know music terminology just saying stuff like "I really liked this songs vibe/energy" or "the melodies in this song are verh catchy/memorable" would've made your analysis of each song more interesting in my opinion. This is a still a great video with good editing and writing, but if you ever do make another FNF mod review like this one, I think you should try to doing this. Regardless, I'm definitely subbing and I'm interested to see what you do next!

I am of the belief this is the only mod (that I know of and/or recall) that has no misses. You can name any song from the mod and you can vibe to any one of them, not to mention the story. It's not a novel concept, Trollge Files years before did some lore when Trollge was booming, but it's like the team pulled from that, put Mario on it, and decided to make only bangers. To make a great song based off evil mario of all things AND able to make a pretty concrete story out of it is peak having the cake and eating it too.

this video is so well made and edited, i don't see why the view count is so low. excellent video! i agree with everything you said, except for a few things [everyone has their own opinion, of course]. the only things i disagree with you on are: 1.) race traitors -> personally, i thought this song was pretty good in the original V1 of the mod, but i don't really like the new chromatic they used on mario for this song in the V2 update. 2.) demise -> i love this song as well, and i can see why you rated the charting so low. personally, i love the challenge of the charting, but i do agree that it uses chord notes [double notes as you say] too often compared to anything else in the mod. i would have rated the charting two or three, probably two though. 3.) dark forest -> i personally loved this song and the chromatic / voice of corrupted peach [and the screaming]. obviously, these are my opinions and that doesn't mean your video is bad. again, your video was really fun to watch and it was really well made!! Gonna be honest i never really understood why people prefered race traitors v1 over v2. Other than nostalgia. I remeber when i first heared the song i thought "they acctually gave him a chormatic?!" but i respect your opinion. The other 2 things you said i totally agree with. Demise at first was a song i really didn't like and just thought it was too hard, but with time it has really grown on me and the diffculty isn't that big of a problem. And acctually the same story with dark forest. The screaming in the song really wasn't my cup of tea at first, but what can i say i found the screaming to acctually fit very well with the song after listening to it multiple times.

@@Pagun47 i would try and explain the part i dont like about the chromatic for race traitors, but i cant figure out how to word it. other than my issue with the chromatic, the song itself is pretty good with all the new changes, such as one or two duet sections and the extended song. i may be stupid, but whenever i played the mod for the first time, i was really excited to hear how they were going to create a V2 race traitors. whenever i got to the song, i felt it was good up until mario starting singing, which is like five seconds in. the chromatic was really a problem for me and the song became one of my least favorites, down there with "so cool". i dont hate the song nearly as much as i used to, but i still find the chromatic to be a bit annoying. sorry for a long comment again!!!!!

When you say that this is one of the longest mods that isn’t quite true, Vs Imposter V4 and DDTO plus clock in at 3+ hours. I do agree tho that it is pretty long. Crazy you didn’t bring up the mod cameos in the first cutscene. Seeing your ratings, you seem to hate swing rhythm, which kinda sucks to hear considering how rare it is a song to be written in swing. Will say Hex devs literally had experience in NotITG so they thought modcharting was the ideal challenge but didn’t realize how difficult that modcharting was to handle.

Extra information: At 36:20 the souls Ultra M consumed starts to sing together. It is hard to hear but for people asking for lyrics "See in the star, Move on lost way all that we are, living to stay, part of it all, take of all face, beckoning call, JOIN US" They repeat this for 2 times after either Mario or Mario with GF's voice tries to trick BF with another lyrics "Say its true me and you! Make it through, what we have to do. Let's be free can't you see? It's-a me!" In my theory since Mario didn’t wanted to kill BF he tried to trick him to get his soul aswell or his companion in his hell. Maybe with an amount of soul Mario can escape from the game or like i said Mario could've wanted BF's companion. If you would ask why would he want BF's company? It is because in outro Mario starts to sing if we need to describe song in short because of with BF he remembered his humanity filled the loneliness inside him after many years. He wanted to defeat him but not with cheating with an fair way. But in end he ended up with losing to his anger and killed him unfairly

How I interpreted the lore was the same as the one you said, but Daddy Dearest trapped M in the game during the 2020s. And as M created his world, he used many Mario related things he knew about at the time and liked or thought was funny. Leading to why the songs are all based on pre-existing things.

I wholeheartedly agree All Stars is a phenomenal last song! The ending of Act 4 in particular genuinely shocked me first time I saw it. All the notes in the final section felt like it was building to something and I thought it would end on a final note from Boyfriend. But then he was killed before anything like that could happen! At first it was a very abrupt end to the song and lacking a satisfying endnote, but now that I think about it maybe it was intentional? BF being denied a way to victory at the very end cemented how hopeless it was to defeat Ultra M. That is the kind of ending that sticks with you and makes a song like this memorable.

Classified Mario is like that because the cutscene was made after the song was made so they just made his voice in the cutscene sounds more like a tv show Mario just because the could. And for the gf thing you may be right, but there are 2 differences here. First of gf doesn't come back after the song. Which is obious cuz it's the last song but still. Secondly Ultra M using gf as a puppet and making her fight gf shows that there really isn't anything he can do now. Gf wont get another 1up. So yeah those 2 things make the death in All stars feel may more impactful.

12:20 Ngl, I think Oh Gosh No, is very eh. Some parts are fun to listen to, but a lot of the song just feels messy with the two of them singing at the same time. Typically for many mods, it takes me a while to get used to the voices as instruments and what the notes are in the songs’ music sheet usually for said vocals, and it took me a while to really appreciate the OST. 29:29 Bro did NOT just rate Demise higher than Bad Day 💀 Imo Demise is in a really weird spot for me. It's not BAD per say, but it's not GOOD either. It's mostly due to Demise mostly being nonsensical notespam, in both the song and the charting, leaving it feeling like your average Dave and Bambi spamtrack. There's also MX's HORRIBLE sounding atonals in the Underground part. BF and MX are also almost CONSTANTLY singing together, and in some cases doesn't sound great, because it sounds like they're fighting over control of the song, and not in a GOOD way either. What keeps me from saying "Song bad, worst in the mod lmao" is the instrumental, it goes so hard. Especially the piano at the beginning. The first couple turns also aren't as bad as the rest of the song, Still too overcharted, but not AS bad as everything else.

Respectfully, skill issue. I only came across one small bug that didn’t cause much of an issue, and I thought the charting overall was excellent. Probably the best FNF mod to exist.

@@benny_by6344 i know what you mean, but for us that we're working on mods (and with good quality too) play Mario Madness wasn't that experience that we thought it was going to be. My reaction was exaggerated, i don't hate this mod, i just don't think is the "BEST" fnf mario creepypasta mod, when there are literally other mods that are better in some other aspects.
