I am so glad to see Mr. Puzzles return! He's literally one of the best characters in this series, and I haven't been this invested in an SMG4 character since Tari. y'know, Mr. Puzzles coming back and being a good guy is honestly something i think a lot of people might have been hoping for, i mean, his goal during his arc seemed rather tame and innocent compared to others, just wanting to make a good TV show, granted he kinda went about it in the wrong way by trapping people against their will, but in the end i think he just wanted to do something that'd make people remember him, because as he said in his song, he never had any friends, he was lonely, so making a show that people loved was, i guess, his way of trying to fill that hole, but either way, im glad to see him back, hes definitely too interesting and goofy a character to just make a one off villain

Honestly, Mr. Puzzles going from a megalomaniac to one of those recurring cartoon villains who always tries to do something evil only to fail each time is something that would be *PERFECT* for this series. I know everybody's talking about the sudden return of Mr. Puzzles, but seriously, aren't we going to talk about how good this Dora the Explorer parody was? I can say that this video brought back memories from watching Dora the Explorer back in the day, and there were some really nice moments throughout the video. Luigi not being able to find the way in his map and switching over to a GPS really fits Map's transition from the original series to Dora & Friends, where he is Map App. Not to forget Luigi doing a decent job, as much as Map's nephew Map Junior, and Boopkins being Backpack, which in typical SMG4 fashion, has him carrying esoteric objects that end up killing him. Bob being the stand-in for everyone's favourite fox Swiper was totally ridiculous as much as it was funny; I never expected him to stab 4, accidentally nearly offing him, instead of being, in typical Swiper fashion, told off or successfully swiping and hiding something, being the kleptomaniac he is, I guess. The recreation of the opening sequence, the use of the iconic mouse cursor, and of course using classic songs like "I'm the Map", "Where are we going", "Backpack Backpack", and "We did it", all remixed with SMG4 themes, were pretty good in their own right. Of course, seeing those songs, or their instrumentals, in this video will likely mean legal trouble, so we'll see if Nick and ViacomCBS won't issue a copyright strike or DMCA.

You can never keep a good villain down for long. The age old saying was proven here - never count a villain out until you find the body. Of course, who knew that all it took was one more "adventure" for Mr. Puzzles to get back on his feet again? It felt like this episode was an extra story from the Puzzlevision arc that was scrapped near the end; it was a nice touch to add it in like this! I hope we can see more "missed chances/ideas" Mr. Puzzles had in store for the SMG4 crew in future episodes - maybe even with other characters as Mr. Puzzles tries to warm up to the group?

TV MAN BACK. TL;DR: Mr. Puzzles character development makes me happy, to the point where I go on a tangent about it and make people mad about how long the tangent is in the replies. ON TO THE TANGENT IN QUESTION! Honestly it's just amusing how much Mr. Puzzles is trying to be of some importance now. He knows 5 stars isn't gonna happen now, so he's just trying to be relevant now. And even that is dicey. So odds are while he might not be able to do this kind of show as much (probably for the better, I kinda liked Puzzles being more of a cause to the SMG4 shows as opposed to changing the current shows into... kids TV show parodies, I guess), he'll still cause chaos for the crew in his own ways. Puzzles was a great character when he was the cause of events but didn't actively do stuff. For example, IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT, Western Spaghetti, and WOTFI 2023 were amazing, and while I also loved the Puzzlevision movie, it's because it wasn't sugarcoated. As such, I think having Mr. Puzzles seem like a goofy antagonist is fair, but either he'll start causing more devious events behind the crew's back or start just becoming a part of the main formula instead of trying to make it his own. Either of which can transition into him being redeemed or being defeated a second time... or just neither of those, and he just remains a recurring pain in the butt in some manner. Personally, I don't mind where it goes. And I will say that it's gotten MUCH better now that instead of making the parody shows go how he wants, Mr. Puzzles is just going with the flow of whatever SMG4 chaos happens- even joining the Spooky Dance that happened, which I honestly loved. (Though RIP his SpongeBob ice cream. Surprised there wasn't a short "wait, my ice cream" moment there. Would have been a good laugh.) So, while these sorts of shows aren't my thing per se... they're getting much better than they were before. And that's why I'm more than happy to see what Mr. Puzzles will do now that he's back in. Heck, he might even get a 5-star rating ALONGSIDE SMG4... wonder how he'd react to that? Getting a five stars because he's decided to change his tactics from aggressive takeovers to more being a passive part of the show (though still an antagonist of sorts)... that may certainly be confusing, since he'll have to use that power a little differently- especially since he will have it limited by SMG4 having the 5 1/2 stars, meaning the 5 star is less powerful. Could make for fun villain antics, but he can't just outright overrun the SMG4 formula. We'll see soon enough though. Welcome back, Mr. Puzzles. Let's see what kinds of antics you cause now that you're back... and now that you realize you can't quite reach perfection. Review: 4.5 of 5 stars. Not my thing... but still really good.
