What makes you say that she's ignorant? By the way, it's "Jeux d'enfants"^^ and I also love this movie, but I don't know if you've seen "Rust and Bone" yet ("De rouille et d'os" in french), but it's really the best movie she's been in so far! But that's because Jacques Audiard is the best french movie director there is! :)

She is amazing ! M. Cotillard should stop to play in the Hollywood crap... I watched her movies like, "la vie en rose" "love me if you dare or "Rust and bone" all was French movies and she was the central actress and great. In the US movies like the Dark night rise or Inception she don't have lot of scene, probably because she is not an anglo-saxon actress. She already won an oscar, the Hollywood studios wast your talent you don't need to play for them.

I suspect it's mandated. Don't speak any title but Rust and Bone. Just as Microsoft wouldn´t keep flyers of Apple products in his promotion stand. She is there to promote a movie after all, she's not there because she wanted to give an interview. I think it's all a bit squemishness on the part of marketing boys

It probably helps her get more American films. I saw her in a couple of Movies and had no idea she is French.
