The loud downpour sound stops at around 2:02. Weird. It's as if a third unseen character closed the door quietly. Vaughn is just not right. Giggles nerouvsly too much, and unconvincingly at that. This whole remake was the worst cinematic idea in the 1990s.

Ok this version sucked in comparison to the original Hitchcock 1960s version, Anthony Perkins as Norman Bates was incredible, but in this version as Marion looks up at the house and you see mother walk past the window with that faint sound in the background… it gives me chills.
