Here's my advice to everyone. "If you have to do something, learn to enjoy it." Find excitement, Joy, fun, things that bring smiles in every job that you have to do. And change the words "have to do" into the words "get to do." (I'm a real psychologist).

So true.... Its all about the way you look at things.... When I say its easy, i like it, not a problem.... Turns out it is! And i do it more easily.... Its all in our head! A negative mind will never give us a possitive life ❤️

When you have to change your mind from procrastinating to actually getting started, I compare it to a train. I commute by train every day and am fascinated by their strength when a train sweeps past for 200 km. A train uses almost ALL its power and energy when it starts moving. After a while, when it picks up speed, then it requires less and less energy. It goes almost by itself. A train that rolls at high speed is difficult to stop. This metaphor shows that it is difficult in the beginning and costs a lot of energy, but once you get started, then no one can stop you.

Yes! I definitely feel like she has a way of taking these manifestation concepts & actually putting them into practical steps that anyone can follow.... that's one of my big issues with a lot of manifestation coaches, they tell you all of these theoretical things that you should be doing but they don't tell you how you're supposed to do it. I find this is very helpful by explaining manifestation down into logical practical steps

I learned after watching my mom's obesity, lack of motivation that discipline is important. However, its important to learn how to not be a fanatical perfectionist. Our society rewards perfectionism. Id love to see a video on how to take your perfectionism and let it work to your advantage , yet take charge of it like a parent and reel it in when youre working too hard.

Thanks Marisa, you always get through to me and get my mind on the right track. The thing I want to change is to get up early, I really want to become a morning person because there's so much I want to do but because I don't get up until elevenish, by the time I've done anything, I don't have any reward time. So I'm already thinking, "if I get up earlier, get a few things done, walk and feed Valentine, then I get an hour or two to myself before my husband comes home". This video has shown me how to change my mind and behaviour so I'll love getting up around seven instead of having a second alarm set for 10.30!

I don’t drink, smoke, do drugs. I eat healthy, exercise everyday and work long days. I don’t watch tv, movies, etc. I brush my teeth. I am polite, intelligent and compassionate. After 30 years in a male dominated industry, I have noticed more discrimination and hostility towards talented women. As a single working class female ( educated), the rejection rate seems to be increasing as I get older. There’s a lot of hostility and discrimination. I am trying to figure out what direction to take my talents in.

Hi Gertrude, thank you for sharing. I admired how you succinctly described your situation. Keep focus on your journey. Like yourself, Marisa is an example of a successful career woman of a profession that men often tend to dominate. The difference is she found (or created?) her very own niche to help and nurture others beyond what's currently being offered in her field. As women you know this comes more natural to us than with men (who tend to be deconditioned [my phrasing]) of this essential quality by our society. We need women like you and Marisa - now more than ever. Much success on your journey in MMXXI. 🎟🚪

Woman like you matter the most because you are the living example for younger generations. I have had amazing teachers that lead me to believe it was possible, it was reachable, it was an option I could choose if I wanted to. You have faced discrimination, nagging, humilliation mansplanning and plain and simple hate and envy so younger woman can look up to you and follow your path with less hardships. It's always hard to be a pioneer. You had to create your own path, a path that did not existed before you, but you leaved for others to follow. You are an inspiration, a leader, a boss, a b1tch. Embrace it with pride. Thanks for existing.

One day I will meet Marisa Peer in person, and get the chance to tell her my gratitude in person. Madame Peer, the world is a better place with you in it.

well, i took all my favorite classes in college. I have a ton of credits in classes i loved.. I never finished or graduated with a BFA, but i had fun doing all the classes that i love. I tried math a few times, and failed, so i just quit. So anyway, i am glad i did all the classes that i loved.. because it was way better for me. xo
