i mean yes, it would be nice if i could just turn on the subtitles from the official videos, but unfortunately it’s not that simple. i understand your dilemma though because even i as a native speaker always have subtitles on everything i watch, and the automatically generated ones do suck, but these videos are essentially a passion project for me and subtitles take a long time to do correctly. unfortunately i just don’t have the time to do it (or the money to pay someone else to do it) correctly :/

ah, i didn’t know that’s what you meant, but either way that would not work because of the way i format my videos. since i crop in to show only one or two cast members at a time and the subtitles are at the bottom of the full screen video, they would get cut off. they would show in the instances where i do show the full screen, but only then, if that makes sense?
