I have been blown away by the outpouring of love and support from so many people. I know my daughter is smiling down at how this has shown that there is still love in this world, and hope for humanity. I so greatly appreciate everyone who took the time to share in my daughter's honor walk, and leave words of support and encouragement. It's been just over a year, and I still miss her so much. Some days the pain is so fresh and raw, like it just happened, and other days, it's more bearable. What I miss the most, is not being able to just pick up my phone, push a few buttons, and hear her voice. No more texts or calls, no more 3 am video chats because her nightmares made her afraid to close her eyes. I have a few videos of her, and lots of pics, but that's it. Just memories. Some good, some not so much, but all I have left of her. If I could give one pearl of wisdom, it's this: don't take your loved ones for granted. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow. Love them TODAY. Time is more precious than money, and unlike money, once rime is gone, you can NEVER get it back. Thank you, everyone, and please, keep sharing the love. The world needs it, now more than ever❤

Thank you to all of you for your heartfelt messages of love and support. I have not been responding as quickly as I'd like. I've been working more, and it's just been really hard lately. I miss her so much, and I still don't know how to live in my new reality. A cardinal sits outside my bedroom window every morning, and I think it's her, letting me know she's ok, and stopping to say hi. I can’t imagine your pain. You’re a hero to allow your daughter’s life to bring life and hope to so many others who wait on transplant lists. My brother in law received a kidney and pancreas and it saved his life. He married and had 10 years of life because of such a donation. We’ve never met but I learned that five other patients also received gifts of life and there’s not a day that goes by I don’t think of them. As a mother of a daughter, I can't imagine what you are going through. Watching this video was so heart wrenching and I couldn't stop my tears from falling. I didn't know her but I pray God's protection, peace and love surround the whole family. For her brother, I know what it is like to lose a sibling. I lost my younger brother in 2013. He went into cardiac arrest and passed away. He was 35 years old. I know it's hard. Hold your memories close of your sister. God will always be there for all of you. God bless. RIH Angel 😇🕊️💜✝️🙏😭

I've heard a lot of people who have received organs say that once they got the organ they changed a little bit and I've heard people say that it's the essence of the person whose organ they received, and I'm hoping the same holds true for the recipients of my daughter's organs. I hope that the loving and giving person that she was that Essence lives on in the people that she saved.

I can't imagine the pain that you are livin thru, I pray that God will bring some peace that will help you get thru each day. I've know a few people that gave life to someone waitin on an organ n I know a few that's received a gift. Thanks to your choice so many more will be able to receive a life changin gift.
