Thanks for making these videos (genuinely) I love watching these videos while studying or just when I feel down and need some postivety and need to learn more about some of my favorite music and movies/ anime. I love all the content you put out and hope that you feel encouraged when(if ever) you're in a rut. Your videos help bring some positivety to me right now since my family is going through some difficulty right now. My dad's had a back problem for more than 20 years(before I was even born) due to the military and it has gotten so bad that he is now paralyzed from the waist down and we are having to adjust to it. Thanks with huge sincerity your videos are made with such quality 👍👍👍

i’ve been looking for city pop content. i started with plastic love but listened to everything of mariya from the 80’s. i think request is the best of her city pop but Miss M is really something special. i like beginning’s acoustic feel, how it makes me feel like she’s singing to me directly, very sweet. too bad love songs puts you to sleep, i personally like clear and strong vocals a lot so the tracks may be less interesting but her vocal work is definitely great in that album. i’d love to hear your opinion on taeko ohnuki’s work, her musical work is definitely ALL over the place so it’d be fun to hear your thoughts on her musical progression. great video!
@Stevem4 жыл бұрын
I did talk a little about taeko in an intro to citypop video she is one of my favourites , 27 full releases is a heavy lot to go through, but maybe who knows I'd like to do a video on her career sometime

My favorite is Request, but I like your takes. Variety’s popularity is understandable but a bit odd. It has a few bangers, but it has far too much pop rock trash. And yeah Miss M really is great.
