The true meaning of the passage can only be understood if you start reading from v38. Read v38-44... then read verse 40 again and you will get what Jesus was really saying.

Agreed. The Title of this sermon alone leads me to believe this pastor will offer yet another dramatic misinterpretation of the story. We do not know how this touched Jesus' heart, but if we did, it almost certainly did not please Jesus.

You’ve completely taken this teaching out of context Jack. It’s not about sacrificial giving. Jesus wasn’t happy that she gave her last mite. He was angry that the Jewish leaders were “devouring widows houses”.
