What a compelling story! I loved Penelope and found her yearning for deep connection with nature and meaning very real. I hope you’ll do a new season or more episodes. The story taps into a depth and realness and doesn’t rely on sad cliches of modern entertainment and violence to drive our deep interest. Thank you for this series! I loved it! ❤❤

I got into backpacking about 2 years ago and I understand the peace, serenity and community you find on trail. People have very little on trail but are always willing to share. Men and women are just backpackers, gender doesn’t enter into into it. Its the greatest activity ive ever found in my life. Penelope taps into that sense of wonder with nature. The woods calls to her. I get that. Like in my soul, I get that

I was lost four days as a kid in the Adirondacks. You nailed it with the dreams and hallucinations about already being out …then waking up.

I love that the movie is from the viewpoint of a young teenage girl....beautiful scenery...I also love the tree loving woman in the forest. Peter was wonderful. I just loved it and hated to see it end! Good job brothers!

The series seems to take some stuff from the book "The Overstory" and other similar books

Loved the show, hated the cliffhanger ending... Really wish you'd neatly tied it off with her finding some sort of peace... Even if it was "just incase" you were worried about not being able to revisit it with a second season. I'm left longing for her closure, and that is not a nice feeling. It's like I care about her.... :(

I find the idea of creating content cheaply. And while I agree, I think having an amazing story really defined this series more than the budget. I don’t think it can be copy and pasted in a boardroom environment. All this to say bravo!

I found your series completely disrespectful to parents of teenagers. period. Good series about teen adventure. But why disrespect the folks that put you on this earth so bad.

How was she being disrespectful?

@@AdMierr She claims she is not running away. But that is exactly what she does Leaves family high and dry 1voicemail in 2 months. They know she is a greenhorn. I have a 16year old. The entire show I felt for her Mom and Dad. I would not sleep for weeks on end and hire multiple search teams and social media posts daily. Wouldn't you? At minimum disrespectful. That is being nice.

@@chubeecrypto9857 i understand what your saying but you ever thought about how the teenager felt? In the show it seems like all she wanted to do is find out her purpose in life. She might’ve had good parents but not in the way she needed them to be cs it’s clear they didn’t provide that space for her to open up to them about her emotions

I think Penelope was in a lot of pain. Her parents would never have let her go on this adventure...terrible that they were dead....how do you suppose they died?

@@Breeannful I was guessing suicide because they died after she left with no contact which is why she's surprised to find out the are dead when she sees the post.
