Thank you for the free audiobook! I will say that the overall premise of the story was good, but I feel like it took too long to tell the story. There were ups and downs; meaning there were parts of the book that I was really into and was waiting to hear what happened next. Then the story dropped for a while and I would get bored...then would pick up again. As I said the overall story line is great! Narration was amazing, but I did struggle at parts.

This is set in north Wales but the Welsh accent used is that of south Wales which is very different. Also, the little Welsh song would sound 'een, dye, tree' not dow. Just little things which anyone with a bit of Welsh experience would know. Otherwise a very good reading, thank you.

Can anyone tell me why we should know that a taxi driver (who only appears once) was "roughly my age with thinning hair"? I don't expect writing excellence from a thriller but this kind of irrelevant detail, smacking of a high-school class in creative writing, should have been edited out. Unless, of course, the author gets paid by the number of words.

It is a fairly good story. The plot not bad, but there are glaringly obvious mistakes. The author has overlooked targets (listeners) being able to work this out. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone, but consider this 35 yrs and 2 yrs and the only evidence of "**' happens in the last week?

I’ll continue listening after reading comments saying it was just the one gratuitous sex part. It did seem like a good book until then. Jamming the somewhat graphic sex encounter into a book not about sex made me think it was going in that direction and was going to turn into a Harlequin romance horror novel but apparently it doesn’t.
