I am pleasantly surprised...I knew I liked Mark's (and GFR) stuff...but never knew about his connection to Jesus Christ. Very good to know...makes his music that much better. God just keeps on sending the blessings Y'all !!!!!

Mark Farner and GFR was one of my favorite bands in the 70's. I listened to their music for hours and hours. I just found out that he got saved. I gave my life to Christ in 1980. Haven't been the same since. PRAISE THE LORD!!! Roger :)

I had the biggest crush on Mark Farner when I was 17. Now I'm a Christian, and I'm thrilled that he's a brother in Christ. PTL!

Well alright I'm proud of Mark for this straight forward interview, his unhappiness and how he knew he had to get back to the only One who can redeem us fully, who gives us a purpose to carry on - our Lord Jesus Christ. I love so much Grand Funk music, it's interesting to hear him say he was inspired by Jesus to write many of those songs. Rock on Mark!

In GFR's first live album, between songs, you hear Farner talking to audience not to touch the stuff passed around.....back in 70's it was impressive.... and he has not changed a bit....Great guy and great musician.

The faithful were written into the book of life before the beginning. Growing up, I sold out to MD&M as a kid, the Spirit had me glued to a fellow brother and I didn't even know Him but He knew me. I once was lost but now I'm found. Thank you Mark Farner for keeping me safe through my youth as I was screaming down the road of life in my 69 GTO with my hair on fire. Well done good and faithful servant. May His peace be with you. See you in glory brother!

GFR is not in the RRHOF because they (RRHOF) dont give a dam about the fact they sold records like hot cake or they sold out the show in record time or they went gold befor ethe LP hit the store. GFR was a BAND of the PPL, for the PPL and of the PPL. LONG LIVE MARK and to hell with Don and Mel.
