I have to tell you with your love of cars I grew up in a neighborhood that was built around an old Gimbel estate. A stone manor home built in 37. In was owned by the builder of all our homes. Big car collector. He had a ten car garage built on the property. 11 acres. This was back in the 70’s. First time I saw a car elevator. They had five kids. Had the first Mercedes station wagon. Diesel too.

Man you have come so far. I remember finding you in 2013 in Afghanistan through your blogs. You kinda got me into the rental game. Since then weve purchased 6 houses and a Child Care Center. We sold off some stuff because were preparing for Military retirement. We now have 2 paid for rentals and 18 acres. Glad I ran into you on the net in 2012!!!

I’m blown away at the various price points for houses across the globe. Beautiful home. A million dollar home in Toronto would have been built in the 90’s most likely and still need tons of renovations. Perhaps you’d be lucky to have a driveway though.

Beautiful home, Mark. Your wife has excellent taste in decorating. By the looks of things, she kept you very busy making the improvements she wanted done. Thanks to you both for the tour. It is clean and well cared for. I especially loved the well-stocked pantries and freezers. I am sure she isn't finished. I was surprised however, you did not have a water system since you have so much water coming from the roof. All you need now is a second heating source, and you're all set for any emergency. If you stepped on a nail, you'd say "wow, I am lucky that isn't a rusty nail." If you stepped on a rusty nail, you'd say, "wow, I am lucky that isn't a rusty screw!" I legitimately think of you when I stub my toe, or something goes wrong, and force myself to say, wow, that wasn't so bad, or wow, im lucky i didn't fall on my face, because I am a young man trying to train my mind to react like yours. NICE house Mark, that water outlet right behind the stove is such a smart idea when filling huge pots for bulk cooking, that copper is a beautiful work of art too, top quality build with no $$$$ spared. You sure got an AMAZING deal on that house, all your hard work and intelligence certainly paid off for your family. Hopefully your kids will follow in you and your wife's footsteps and be highly driven creators themselves. Diablo was one of the 1st cars to break 200 mph, i watch Exotic Car Hacks from time to time, he sure has a collection and is constantly selling and buying them, he doesn't own too many older classics compared to his total collection.

@@investfourmore Yes he has come a LONG way when he had i think 1 exotic in his earliest videos. In MY opinion while it's possible to buy a car under its actual value the payments still need to be made so if someone gets a car for 150K that's worth say 175-200 they still either need the cash to pay off COD or a GOOD job to make the payments for a once in a while toy. The same with buying a house, even if someone gets a house at a fantastic deal they still need to qualify for a mortgage unless they have the $$$$. Any exotic is a toy not to be used daily and people looks for vehicles with low mileage too. I bought a house/hideaway in WV a few years ago for 33K, put 8K into it refreshing certain areas and it sold for 75K in a week yielding a nice profit, looking for another now. BTW the taxes for the ENTIRE year were $$170.00 speaking of LOW taxes!!!!

Very nice. You might want to consider installing fire sprinklers in the garages to extinguish a car fire should one ever occur. Inexpensive fire-rated CPVC plastic piping is available now that works well for residential sprinkler systems. It can be connected to your existing water supply, upstream of the pressure reducing valve.

One thing about fires.....like you say things happen like that. My GMA had a fire in a spare bedroom that happened due to a window shade that caught fire from the sun shining on a 7 UP(glass) bottle! ******************************************************************* I love your wife's craft room....I was a little surprised to see the dresser in the craft room....It is from Sears from the late 60's. My folks built a brand-new home and my bedroom furniture was from Sears, the 3 drawer dresser, the regular dresser and a desk & twin bed. I just recently sold the dressers to a couple who were at my garage sale looking for dressers for their little girl.... Great house Mark! Cute Dog, ducks...and of course the fish!
