Nothing wrong with a fan channel as such. The problem is that while in theory it is a forum for fans to express their views, in practice anyone who disagrees with the host is shouted down and ridiculed. People like Goldbridge have huge influence on the more gullible and feeble-minded supporters, as could be seen when he whipped them up into a frenzy of hate against Mason Greenwood, a man not convicted of any crime.

Mark, had social media been around during Tommy Doc's days and when Sir Alex Ferguson first took over at United, likely neither would have survived. United were awful during Docherty's first full season. But the board could see what he was doing and gave him time to rebuild the team. Thank goodness we did not have social media then. And what about SAF? Once again the board cold see the work he was doing and how did it pay off. I hope the current board is as brave as their predecessors were. Teh Hag does not become a bad manager overnight. There are many things wrong at MU and until those are fixed, it does not matter who the manager is. After all LVG and Jose are all world class but failed at United. So fix the structure first. Else, it does not matter whom United bring in and how much is spent.

The problem is Ten Hag didn't mention Garnacho, but Mark did and that clearly planted the seed when Garnacho read it and stupidly liked it. Butterfly Effect anyone? So if this blows up and Garnacho leaves, then people will trace it back to that interpretation, because that's the spark that dragged the issue outside the club and into the media spot light and we all know how the media like to blow these things up.
