Mark Greaney - Sierra Six - Danger Close with Jack Carr

This week, thriller master Mark Greaney returns to Danger Close.
Mark is the creator of The Gray Man series featuring former CIA operative Court Gentry. A film adaption of The Gray Man is currently in production by Netflix starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: Winter Soldier, Extraction, Avengers: Endgame), it is the highest budget film ever produced by the streaming network.

The first Gray Man book was rough. I felt it to be written by a guy who knew only a little about firearms and tactics but I loved the general idea of the Gray Man so I decided to stick with it. The second book was ok, but improved. The third was FANTASTIC! It’s been a great series ever since and I have been able to appreciate the growth of Mark through each book. I preordered Sierra Six and it just arrived at my house today. Can’t wait to knock it out!

I think Mark is making a huge mistake in the casting of Gray man. All Souls author Harkness made the same mistake casting her trilogy and the result is a lousy tv show that was very forgettable. Reacher was well cast and the tv show was very faithful to the book. All Souls was unrecognizable compared to the book. Hope Mark doesn't make the same mistakes. Love love love Gray Man. Like Reacher, Gentry is a giant of a man. Please Mark don't cast a pretty puny man for the role.
