Mark is so awesome!! I flew over from Ireland to Manchester to see Periphery and it was the greatest night of my life!! Even got to meet Spencer afterwards and caught Misha’s last guitar pic. Was front row and they crushed it!! Was a little sad I didn’t get to see Mark but my thoughts are with him and his family and hope everything is okay.

How was Spencer when you met him? you would think the singer of the band is the most douchey but that dude is really down-to-earth. I also met him and got to hang out with him at a bar with his Roadies. it was pretty insane.

Iridescent Noise honest to God one of the nicest, most humble, down to Earth people I’ve ever met in my life. You could tell all he wanted was to have a good time and talk to his fans, there was no separation between him and fans like you normally see with other artists. I totally respect when other artists don’t want to be harassed by other fans all the time but you could tell Spencer was sincere and really enjoyed the company. He was outside chatting to everyone for hours and taking pictures with everyone, just chilling out drinking his mezzo-mix and Jameson whiskey (my ice-breaker was actually the fact that I live in the town where they make Jameson in Ireland!) It was my girlfriends birthday the following day and even said happy birthday and gave her a birthday hi-five! They say never meet your heroes, I say never meet your heroes unless it’s Spencer!! Should an amazing guy and incredible singer and performer!

@@adamcogan211 hahaha similar experience here in Las Vegas. By pure Chance We found him bumming a cigarette. he loves his Jameson! His roadie had one in his backpack *new* he pulled it out and opened it. Chugged it like it was water. Then , instead of sending us off on our way he invited my friends and I to walk the strip with him to the chandelier bar at the Cosmopolitan. Then another random fan appeared and it became a bigger group. 2 hours of talking music felt surreal. Especially because I was drunk and high.lol. Pretty cool night. only thing that ruined it was my controlling girlfriend, she kept calling me when I was trying to hang out with them. Then the guys from astronoid showed up to hang. Got to talk to the guitarist for a little bit he was chill. Then I tried to shake the hand of one of the other guys in the band and it ended up being an awkward handshake LOL. Cringe. Either way, at the end of the night I remember telling Spencer before they left to play roulette "you guys are the reason I started playing guitar again, a lot of metal sounds the same and uses nothing but power chords" and he said he felt similar about metal, they try to be different and interesting. We told them we were leaving and told them to enjoy themselves gambling. They're like you guys are leaving? And we told him yeah because it's getting late. Then we all bro hugged and everybody went their separate way. That s*** about don't meet your heroes is bullshit. Take the chance and if they're dicks fuck it, move on. if not you will probably have one of the best experiences in your life. I have a friend who smoked weed with the guys from testament in the jungles of Mexico. Lol but that's another story.
