That So Cold riff is truly one of a kind. It's a real shame that he never really got writing credits for it and the other songs he co-wrote in BB.
@triad57665 жыл бұрын
unfinishedBridges he literally was in the band though lol. Of course he got credit.
@bradhargis22615 жыл бұрын
What are you talking about? He got credit for so cold. All you have to do is look up the music publishing rights and credits.

They should put up new lessons. Bass is so much cooler than many think. Especially Mark who takes Breaking Benjamin to a new level. Can't wait to see what he does for the new album.

oh man a 4 string in A# tuning. my bass would scream in pain if i ever tuned it that low hehe

i hope in the next album Mark can have a real chance of showing off his real bass skills. cuz not that many rock bassist are heard on albums. if only ben and aaron stopped for a moment just to be a little quiet with the guitars and Mark can Jazz it out with his bass lines.

@jerryhill82815 жыл бұрын
MrHestichs you can hear him. If you took out his bass lines it would sound very thin. He follows the guitar a lot in parts

i fucking love how low the based is tuned down to.i have half of the phobia album learned but i find diary of jane hard but im still learning it oh yeah.mark is an AMAZING bass player.i look up to him
@cdubdsp17 жыл бұрын
i think in general, a 4 string is easier to play. the actual strings are farther apart than a 5 or even 6 string bass which reduces accidently hitting the wrong string
@bassology12315 жыл бұрын
you can also tune it as EADGC

What srings he is using on stringray bass? They sound so fucking awesome! so much low-end and nice punch!
@watifweded15 жыл бұрын
wow this is totally bad ass man.
@NoLimitHonky13 жыл бұрын
@DMBassNVox his Warwicks aren't tuned down to A#/Bb, also. Plus like a lot of guys I bet he's only using a .105 low E tuned down to half a step UNDER what a standard B string would be, so there's gonna be some flop. :) That's why I use custom strings for lower stuff like that. Harder to get ahold of but totally worth it when you go way down to Drop C/Drop Bb like them.

Chris Wolstenholm from Muse is a great contrast from Mark. Both very talented, though Mark shows effortless skill with a plectrum and Chris has some serious skill in his fingers :) both good to watch if u wanna see some skillz :P

Just so we clear the "Pick" issue. When I saw them live he didn't use a pick. It depends on the song and style

Yeah I hate it when people judge the awesomeness of a song based on the difficulty. People that do that know absolutely nothing about music and try to sound smart i guess. I think blink 182 made some pretty cool riffs, granted they are about as easy as they come.
