this song reminds me of the feeling you get when its friday and all you want to do is get dress up and go out on the town. Lyrics almost fit perfectly too so more than likely about that friday feelin. Not very original song concept but catchy bass, thumbs up to you sir

Wow! I thought this guy's voice sounded familiar and just realized he was the front man for the Screaming Trees. Whenever I hear "I Nearly Lost you," I always think to myself that I wish I could sing like that. I'm not gay (not that there's anything wrong with that), but as 13FallenAngela said, I too want to have babies with that voice! One of the baddest mutherfucking vocalists of all time!

The dark descends through the Promised Land Down kingdom come and the acid ban I'm bad alone, burned inside out Nothin' to kill it, I hit the city In Marianne I dug a hole And watched her trip on my heart of stone And in the end all that crawled, was my skin I couldn't kill it, I hit the city I hit the city Ghost arrives at it's bitter end To the Promised Land and the dark descends I'm bad alone, burned inside out Nothin' to kill it, I hit the city I hit the city

I'd give a drummer at 2:16 to do anything, and watch he rend and as loud he will go. But Leagan has gret and other style. He don't have culminations.
@alvarobarrosso41692 жыл бұрын
Naa a very short and solid song to mess with that dude, I mean you could yeah but it would kind of get you off of the tune and the more you listen to it you would get tired of that drumfill or whatever, in this case the less the better, Mark knew very good what he did and he made it beautiful
@J_Trask Жыл бұрын
@@alvarobarrosso4169 yes, IMO lending yourself to the song is better than trying to shine through. Any embellishments would be fine on live versions if the vibe permitted.
