Signs I would assume he’s bulked up more since leaving the SBS, He was probably lighter during his military career as you need to be at a more functional weight to traipse across mountain terrain During selection, most special forces guys aren’t GI joe look alikes, they’re normal guys with a extraordinary mental capacity to put themselves through hell, have you met foxey?

I couldn't do the running about bit, up mountains with a big bag on, but I could do the psychological bit. When they deprive you of sleep, give you abuse, throw bodily fluids at you, use repetitive noise, play mind games with you, and dump you in a place you've never worked in before. I would sail through that bit. I'm a nurse in the NHS, that's my job description ;)

Sadly he passed away he got a condition called degenerative myelopathy, basically the nerves start dying from the back end. And he couldn't walk. Heartbreaking. I now have another, he's a rescue called Jax. Nearly 2 yrs old, and a complete lunatic.

You can't just continue, I know we are short staffed, but this is exceptional circumstances. I lost a colleague to Covid. But what annoys me is people are using this lockdown as a holiday. I have never seen so many people walking about. Bless you and RIP to your dad. Get some rest. I'm thinking of you at this difficult time. Take care x

@@michelle88960 Of course..And having that abilty to react approriately,instinctively under immense(and most likely life threatening) pressure..You have had to experienced someone pulling a weapon on u or similar (and of course ur f##king frightened!)But it's what u do&how u do it,that will dictate(hopefully?) the outcome!That's how u know about these situations.(As u rightly referenced in ur original comment) And i no longer live in the UK but when I did(years back),i stayed with my Sister(just o/S NW London)and at that time she purchased 2 long haired(bundles of fun,energy,distruction&joy)GS pups,a Male&Female..Now she's a very smart&capable person,but she really didn't have a clue, about looking after Dogs(But she is a quick study!) so as I had previously owned one,i took on most of the duties(which was cool with me)while instructing her what to do etc...It was hard work,but enjoyable of course and i also had to convince her Husband(who is a good soul)to calm down&not freak out about all of the mess these ewo were creating(naturally they were into everything)..Which eventually he did.. And then about 7 yrs later she ended up with 3!!😏.But that's another story!!_(2b continued).Take care&stay healthy👍..✌out from Vegas.

Wrong shit bag. The SAS derived from the Long Range Desert Group, founded way before the SBS. The SAS was founded by David Stirling and he invented the selection process, This is well documented. When you consider that SBS selection is reported to be the same as SAS selection with an extra water phase added at the end, then it stands to reason that the SAS had to come before the SBS. Otherwise it would be the SAS following the SBS selection route, and David Stirling wouldn't be credited for founding the SAS and the selection process would he? Now get back to your playstation you armchair warrior affenschwanz.

Your SBS stats are made up. Nowhere does it state that the SBS was founded in 1940. I think you will find that it was the Army's Special Boat Section that was first brought into service in 1940, this was not the SBS. It was a section of the Army. The clue is in the title, dimwipe. The origins of the SAS on the other hand are well documented as 1941. Show me one link to your SBS claim/source? You have more chance of finding out who your real father was than coming up with that. Happy hunting fuckhead.

Not correct. Stirling founded the special forces with the SAS. And it did not derive from LRDG. It was a discretely created unit.

Hello Mark, I'd be interested to see what the SAS/SBS guys think of Ben Griffin, if you're not aware, he's a former Tom/Trooper openly talking on KZbin about his exploits in the Middle East and his refusal to go back to theatre. steve lowry it’s same training but through out a longer period of time! Once you’ve served 18 months in the reserves you can go full time same as the Royal Marines
