Manders is a hero first for himself and then maybe for others that are trapped in a negative process. Some may find his work visually inspiring but fail to understand where to go from there in their own work. If one really listens to him and adopts Manders' key methods, then they will realize an absolute solution to any kind of work they make. Betsy Carpenter only understands what is being said from a curatorial / personal perspective. But there is a practical creative process method.

hey, thought this comment was interesting, know it was like 5 years ago, any chance you could explain further, or have any interviews where manders himself talks about his key methods? thanks

And 5 years later from your question Dan, I second that curiosity as to what “methods” you’re referring to.
