The Maersk Alabama lifeboat and model of Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan can be found in the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Jack, don't worry about how good or bad you are "reading ads". You ad-lib better than most and that's a big plus; keeping your audience engaged, interested, and coming back for more. Appreciate the discussion about PTSD and how VN vets didn't get much in the way of treatment when returning from that AO. Having been a medic (Vietnam era) I know a lotta combat vets who would have benefited from it. I do try to steer them to the VA mental health clinic, but the majority say "it's too little, too late" or are so fiercely independent (or perhaps fearful?) the answer's the same: "I'm fine."

I attended a conference for my work Winter of 2014 at Copper Mtn in Colorado. The sponsoring firm hired Mark to speak to us. It was surreal. He had videos, pictures etc and told a lot of really interesting stories about some of his more high profile missions. I recall his whole discussion lasted a few hours. We all received signed copies of his first book and my wife somehow managed to get me a signed copy of his second book as well.

He was treated the way he was because, 1) he was publicly untruthful about his role in the UBL assault [as has Rob O'Neil] and 2] Command tried to work with him on the book issues, but he refused so DOD got involved. It's like anything else in life --- 100 "atta boys" can be wiped with one "oh poop" moment. He turned his back on his teammates at the expense of self-promotion. He stays in hiding and plays up being at high risk of death for phony reasons. There are a lot of T6 dudes out there living a great normal life after deployments without all of the nonsense.

I imagine and I could be wrong but I'd like to believe that mission as big as the UBL raid the boys at least some of them had helmet cams on...for operators like that and missions like that it helps with AAR's, training, etc. If that's the case I think that footage needs to be released. Especially the shots that ended it.

If Mark did as you suggested he'd possibly be getting a prison sentence and then sued civilly by the fake navy seal. They need to make it a crime to pretend that you're a navy seal member when you actually have not been, same goes for other military imperinations.
