Let's face it: Kentucky didn't have their best game last night. Too many turnovers, too many offensive rebounds, too many missed shots. Too many missed free throws. It happens. With this said, Kentucky only lost by 4. The game was on the road, against a good team. Clemson nearly returned everyone from last year's team that made it to the Elite Eight. They're well-coached, and they needed that win last night. They hadn't had a signature win yet. That might be their biggest win in program history. This loss won't sting come March. Unless Clemson has a huge collapse, this should be be a Q1 loss. Clemson played their tails off, and they deserved that win.

The fact is, we played good enough to win, but we didn't shoot well from the line and we missed several wide open threes. We didn't get embarrassed, Clemson is a good team. We lost by 4. Not a blow out. I'd actually rather see us lose by 4 playing hard, than struggle to beat a lower tier team (or lose to one - cough - UNC Wilmington - cough - Oakland - cough) This team has nothing to be ashamed of. It's the first of many losses to come over the years. You can't win 'em all. Keep your chin up BBN.

well we play Gonzaga next, and it’s 2 hours behind. so that “hard place to play” excuse needs to be a one time thing. because the SEC is too stacked in basketball this year which kinda doesn’t make any sense, but does because of NIL

Tough place to play! Lets not forget, clemson was couple points away fron final four last year. Kats b ok, we where not going undefeated, so zags await, we can get back on track. Alot fouling iver the backs, double dribbles, walks wasn't called. In Kentucky we call that "home cooking". No excuses, buts hard beat a good experienced team on there home floor, and beat refs.

Interesting enough, since UK has started using the big's to back down to the basket to score the rest of the players are just standing around watching. Unlike the first games where the big's would back down into the paint, draw in a few defenders then pass out to shooters and the offence ran fluid and smooth. Now the ball is getting sticky and stuck sometimes. GO BLUE!

Didn’t blame it on the players or call specific players out for doing bad things. He will correct mistakes in the gym not with the press. I love it and it’s awesome to see a coach that doesn’t blame it all on the team, it’s a team win and a team loss and you see that with Coach Pope. This team was put together in no time with less time to learn Pope’s coaching and style of play, with time comes confidence and I don’t doubt Mark Pope in the slightest. We went down swinging and that’s what I wanted to see from this first year team, we would’ve lost to a mid major cupcake by now had things stayed the same. If you watch any other college basketball team, the crowds don’t show up like they do against UK, outside of the blue bloods college basketball is all but dead, there might be a few that draws a crowd but they don’t storm the court in a four point win against a #4 team that should’ve been ranked #8 or higher. That makes me happy even tho I believe UK was set up, the color commentators gave it away in the first half, the ACC needed this win so the “challenge” wouldn’t be over, I’m not sure if the ACC and SEC teams would’ve still played after last night had we won but UK would’ve had to have won by 20 to win by 1. Coach Pope will correct this

I am not blaming anyone for this loss. I just think this game and pretty much most games have become too physical for Basketball. There is so much holding, hand checking and body checking. In my opinion this takes away from the game but I guess we better learn to play this style Basketball. Kinda sad!

Several uncalled blatan slams into the back of guys going for rebounds. Clemson had a three from the corner the shuffled his feet snd walked. Thar stuff gets called in a neutral court. Nut really UK just missed too many wide open threes. Clemson got lucky they didnt get hot. Robinson instead of taking the wide lane for a dunk. I stead shot the three and bricked it. Butlers foul trouble early threw off the offensive rhythm and kriisa cant ever play that many minutes.

We didn’t play great and the officiating had a lot to do with it with how much crap they let Clemson get away with. These guys will learn how to win when everything is going against them. They have done it with bad shooting and good calls, but bad shooting and bad calls was too much for them to overcome unfortunately. They really let that take them out of their game but I’m confident Mark Pope and his men will figure it out.
