He's this generation's version of Fun Science Show people that many of us remember as kids. This is probably one of my favorite videos so far. The excitement of creating something that works as a kid, I remember that well. I see it with my own kid. To this day I feel that from time to time when I get to tinker with a new gadget or just see something really amazing in person. Though these last few years I haven't had the chance to see stuff like that as much. So I think that's why I like this video. All of these things were stuff I would've tried had I thought of them as a kid. I hope he keeps up the great work. We need more of this excitement of the sciences again in the world.

5:20 "So those paper clips are all floating" "Technically suspended" Got curious enough to look up the difference. If I understand this correctly, floating is when the object is less dense than the medium it is in so it tries to go upwards (likewise, sinking is when the object is denser than the medium so it goes down). Suspended seems to be of equal density so it neither goes up nor down. Correct me if I'm wrong though!
@Ekipsogel13 күн бұрын
In this case, the water wants to hold itself together because of surface tension, and the paper clips (which are heavier than water) don't have enough weight to overcome that and sit on top of the water.
@LionHeartSamy13 күн бұрын
@Ekipsogel So nothing to do with density of water or the paper clips?
@Ekipsogel13 күн бұрын
@@LionHeartSamy nope. This relies on surface tension being stronger than the weight of the object suspended. Putting soap in the water lowers surface tension and will make the clips fall.

Mark will you PLEASE make a perfect marshmallow roaster. you could do a lot of tests to see what the perfect distance from the fire/coals and the perfect speed it needs to rotate at to make the gold color. then you could add a sensor to tell you what the temp. is. Then make some code to adjust the marshmallow to the perfect height with some stepper motors. After that make different motors rotate the marshmallow at the perfect speed. It would be awesome! It would be a good video and you would have a perfect s,more, so please take this in to consideration.
