Hi from Czech. We have special magazine called D Test. In this magazine on line reports are about all kind of products that are dangerous or corporations doing wrong stuff. It got so popular that any company won't say anything and thay make adjustments right away. When I see that in US, everyting is about money, I feel sory for you guys.

@Dominus Vobiscum Because philanthropy doesn't solve societal issues. 30 million is a drop in the bucket compared to the billions of dollars it would take to solve the problems. You have to solve them at the systemic level, not at the individual level.
@WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot_YT5 жыл бұрын
@Dominus Vobiscum No, Bernie would have the same reasonable answer. He's been asked about making a million dollars with his books. The answer is always the same. You can give all your money away to charity or the government. But the amount you, as an individual give away, won't event make a dent in the overall costs. That is why making that argument is a bad faith one, its being deliberately facetious in order to draw attention away from the actual problems. Broader systemic changes are needed to solve wide spread socioeconomic issues.

Mark Ruffalo said it perfectly. In real life heroes are not who we want to be because exposing corruption is not easy and is frightening when you are going against powerful people Thank God for those people

Beautifully shared by Mark on what wanting to be a hero and a hero is. I can see and feel the learning from Marvel to his new movie.

If you look closely when Ruffalo started talking about how the corporate is killing us just to fill their wallet, his skin turns a little greenish and his voice gets deeper.
