Some people need to eat something before they work-out…. Eating a large steak and a huge bowl of pasta and French fries is not a good idea. I eat 1 egg on half of an English muffin with some cream cheese or almond butter is not going to ruin your workout in the morning. (That gives me energy) The problem is people eat too much food at once and then say oh I can’t eat before I workout.. They don’t understand portion control or actually using those calories for something. I am hypoglycemic and need to put gas in the tank.. I am 5’4 and weigh 106 at 55 years of age. I eat through out the day and I don’t get fat either. My metabolism is high. Everyone is different… I have created a high metabolism for myself. Yes, this man looks good, but if he has to do it by just eating once or twice a day that sucks…. He trained his body to go without food and minute he eats normal he will put weight on.

Hi Mark, I came across your video and was surprised to see that your last name is Sisson. This is my mother's maiden name, one that is very uncommon. My great grandfather was named Howell Leroi Sisson and he passed away before my grandfather, his only child, was born. Grandpa was also named Howell and he fathered my 2 uncles--Howell Jr. (Corky) and Norman, both of whom are deceased--as well as my mom, Marjorie. Uncle Norman had 1 son, Dale Sisson., aged 63. We have all lived our entire lives in Washington state, in both the Spokane and Port Angeles areas. We have never known any other Sissons and was just wondering if we might be your long lost relatives.

Why is there so much conflicting information about sunflower seed oil?

I haven't read through all the conflicting information.... it deals with the fact that if it is refined it is heavily damaged, the high omega 6 content makes it prone to damage. Sunflower seeds are high in Vitamin E which combats these toxic fats and compound but much of the vitamin E is likely destroyed during the refining process... High oleic is similar in structure to an olive oil so that would be less damaging to the body, although still refined... even organic expelled pressed sunflower oil could have been refined. In you can find an unrefined sunflower oil it would theoretically be fine to consume as long as you are not cooking with it
@rualablhor2 жыл бұрын
@@thebestthingthatneverhappe6729 fwiw I don't read too much into it. Much like sugar and HFCs, I think I like to avoid it(many refined seed oil) if possible...but it's almost impossible, thus I'm not too religious over it. I personally use only olive, avocado, coconut and sesame oil...four types of oil is more than enough for most imo.

The human body is designed to function on dual fuel. Some people are fat burners, they are in minority, and others are sugar burners. It depends what works for you. Intermittent fasting, two ketogenic meals a day works for you. That does not mean that this protocol suits everyone. I personally train fasted and practice some sort of intermittent fasting. However if I train late afternoon with a couple of meals in me my performance is much better. So at my age health is more important than performance that's why I follow the above mentioned protocols. My diet however consists of three meals with about 160 grams of protein and 100 grams of carbs. The majority of carbs are consumed post workout. This way of eating provides enough fuel for my workouts. And while ketones can be used as fuel for the brain, I am not convinced that it is the preferred fuel for it. We are all different and while your method works for you it should not be regarded as one size fits all.

Mark is great on a lot of levels, there's some good stuff here but poor Mark, still chasing that sad pathetic joke of a theory: evilution. Humans are bipedal because they're not animals first of all, and the design is perfect that's why it works so well, if you just pay a little attention to the capabilities of the human body it's magnificent and that's because it was designed so well (psst, that's because there was a Designer) 😉
