MOTIVATED..."everything I do is fun!".... "appreciative to have work!"..."life is what inspires my workout philosophy" Everything Mark said in the interview that's noteworthy. You can look at life as a grind making it a "chore"... requiring an incentive...like an allowance given to a kid! or You can look at life as meaningful "labor of love"...and everything your doing, is worth doing, and enriching yourself and the people you care for! Thanks Men's Health...and Mark for sharing!

People wonder why Mark has gotten so many movie roles. That question should be answered by this video. He turns up on turn fully prepared, doesn't complain or cause drama and just works hard to get the job done. If he has to get fat to get the role - he gets fat, if he has to be skinny - he gets skinny and everything in between - no complaints, he is ready for it, hungry and fully committed. You don't hear this a lot in movies/etc but if you work your butt off an appreciate the effort that everyone puts in to get a film/tv/net series done and put in a similar effort in whatever you have to bring to the work, you will go far. If you have ever wondered how some plain looking, seemingly low talent dudes (he isn't) get roles - this is a huge factor.

It's actually really inspiring to see how Mark changed his dieting. I saw interviews in the past with him talking about that heavy meat eating regiment he was doing with 7-8 meals a day, and I always thought to myself "That can't be good for your gut man!" I'm no crazy plant based diet advocate, but the way he was eating and training in the past was just insane.

If you actually look at what most of these action stars eat when they train it's not that fancy. Mostly oats, eggs, rice, chicken, fish and veggies. That's essentially what The Rock eats every day, he just eats three days worth per day. But anyone who wanted to get in shape could buy all that stuff cheap enough. Anyone can eat oats and eggs for breakfast, chicken rice and veg for lunch and fish rice and veg for dinner with a protein shake. Most people probably waste almost as much money on junk food and alcohol.

He's not fully plant-based he still eats fish and shell fish sometimes.

@Jesse Bost I could see that. He's probably getting payed a fuck ton by these plant-based companies. His reasoning for going plant based was pretty weak too, saying "I just couldn't eat 7 meals a day". So my question is how does going plant-based solve that? You get WAY more protein when you actually eat real meat...
@_koschwarz
@_koschwarz 3 жыл бұрын
My first thought was "if you have problems with 6-7 meals a day then why the f... do you eat 6-7 times a day and how is it related to plant based or meat based diet?" The whole thing seemed to me just a big advertisement of artificial plant based supplements... don't tell me a good quality piece of meat is not better than a heavily processed artificial supplement, plant based or not.

I wouldn’t be surprised if his digestive system was having a tough time processing all that meat. Needs more fiber for healthy dumps.

It's relatively easy to keep up fitness/proper eating with a relatively low key life. But MW probably has some of the best work ethic on the planet. He keeps up fitness and regimented eating year round with acting/travel, being a husband/father, and running several businesses. Guy is a machine!
