I forgot to mention, i recall a video on some talk show where they had a guest, a girl who had a disease i believe, that caused her face to be very deformed and was bullied because of it, if i remember correctly. She said one of her favorite songs was dont laugh at me, thats when mark wills walked out playing that song on guitar and sang that song to her. That moment was so sweet and precious it would make you cry. I had to share that because it was a beautiful moment.

I was born at 27 weeks. 2 pounds, 10 oz., and spent the first two months of my life in the NICU. I have a disability as a result and was made fun of every day of my school career. Every. Day. This is my song. This is a song for all of us with a similar history. To all of those people: God bless you. You are loved.

Mark is another hit maker from 90s Country and you'd love his songs. My favorites of his are The Last Memory, Wish You Were Here, Places I've Never Been, I Do (Cherish You), and of course Don't Laugh At Me.

This song is one of the main reasons why I hate it when people look down on homeless people. Because you never really know why or what those people are going through in their minds

2:39 - I once heard a great man say, "We must not sacrifice truth for the sake of flattery." It's more loving to give someone the truth than to sacrifice the truth just to flatter them. Truth will sometimes offend people. But I'm not going to sacrifice it just to make them feel better. Especially if it's to their benefit. Jesus said He didn't come to bring peace, but to divide households. The truth will divide some people, families, and friends. But who are you willing to appease more: people, or God?

I know harassment. This old vet grew up about half the size of everyone my age. My high school was almost 80% minority's and I was the little white boy and that was pretty much how i was identified. It took me to get them to add crazy at the beginning to be left alone somewhat. That will show you whats real and what not. When i went and enlisted in Detroit to join the Army, a week after i turned 17, i was 5'1"tall and weighed 105 1/2 pounds. My duffle bag was almost as big as me. When i got off the bus at basic, with duffle bag on my shoulders and bottom dragging the ground, with me looking like i was about 12 years old. The drill Sargent came up to me and started laughing and said did you mistake this for the school bus son? boy, you are no man and won't make it here two days. Graduated basic 3rd in the class I did my whole active duty time with 1st Inf. before i was old enough to drink within three months of my Honorable discharge, i had enlisted in the Coast Guard, which upon arriving, again being the smallest in class, they laugh and said, you really think you will make it here? Then questioned my four years with army. Again served and received my second service honorable discharge. Spent many years after with DOD contractors. When i had my clearance renewed from From the Army as active with dod contract work. When the FBI did background , then set interview, they questioned if i was the same one in the file. Until they reviewed to see my hight weight on enlistment. At 62 about 5' 6" tall and weighing maybe 120 Lbs. People will see my background and think there is no way this skinny little shit did this, its has become kind of funny at this day and age, as i sit with TBI and PTSD, existing in a VA homeless program for vets. Somethings never change, nor do you really have a way to control others first impressions. But you do have the control of how you accept them and if you allow it to control your destiny or not. Yet, i question now, did it define who i became Or create who i became Just this old vets thoughts..

I hope God forgives me for my past sins but can I not come back like the discrimination of some angels. One of my classmates knew I was being physically and mentally abused because she recognized it in me she was going through mental abuse. I was an athlete she was in advanced classes to compensate for what we were dealing with. If I didn’t get 1st place or missed a tackle I heard about it. If she didn’t have perfect grades she heard about it. We just didn’t say anything about it till 30 years after high school.
