This is just unbelievable beauty!!! What is very creepy is the escape of Alexander Pierce with 8 other prisoners. The movie "Van Diemens Land" tells the story and the film is excellent performed.

My 2 x great grandfather William Dolman was transported here in 1834 leaving behind a wife and five kids, his crime was poaching to feed his family who never saw him again.
