Just purchased a Launcher HB Turbo driver, largely on the recommendation of this and other videos from Mark. Have been playing the Cleveland Launcher HB irons for about 5 months, also on Mark's recommendation. I was able to get a great price on a very lightly used club from Global Golf in the US. I'm a 63-year old 11-handicapper with very limited flexibility due to back issues. They're the easiest irons I've ever hit, and it would not be an understatement to say they've been life changing. I also purchased a set for my wife, along with the 2018 driver. The driver feels great just swinging it in the yard, and I hope the Coronavirus lockdown will end sometime soon so I can put it into play.

I bought one. I hit 13/14 fairways recently. Easy to use he said. Agreed! I added 20 gm lead tape on the heel for draw bias and it worked a treat on the 12 degree head.

Well.... went for a proper fitting at Silvermere Golf centre in Surrey. Tried G410, G410 FST, Callaway Epic, Taylormade M6 in variety of slight draw settings and stiff shafts. All were right on the same yardage, launch and overall distance that my G400 was giving. Then he went to get the Cleveland HB Turbo in 9 degree ( my G400 is 10 degree). The look is very similar to the G410 without turbulators and the shaft did feel lighter. Was getting an extra 8 - 12 yards of carry from a similar launch ( 13 degrees) translating to 10 - 14 more yards overall. Even the fitter was surprised! It is loud but if you like to feel / sound as if you have hit the ball then I think you'll get used to it. Ordered on via my Pro - support your local Pro ! - and should get it this weekend. It's £279.00. I've never changed the G400 standard fitting that I was fitted for so if you are bog standard set up etc this has to be worth a look. The good news is that as the weather warms up in the spring this should be giving me up to 2 clubs less into greens.

I also had one of those Hibore XLs, actually still have it, but don't use it. The sound of the HB Turbo reminds me of my Hibore. It was very loud, very long and very uncontrollable, at least for me at the time. The Tour model sat about 6° open, at least it looked like it. Vijay specs, I suppose. The "normal" model was still on the open side, but not as extreme.

I just bought the Cleveland Hb Turbo Launcher 9 Degrees Stiff Flex Driver after trading in my Nike Covert. Now hitting the ball 50 metres further and I'm losing less balls to the right. The closed face at setup and stiff flex shaft has definitely assisted my development but like Mark says every day, most of the improvement has come from strike and technique improvements. Mark you're brilliant and this channel is a blessing!

Mark tested this club out a few weeks ago after viewing/reading positive reviews and really impressed, most of us amateurs don't bother changing the adjustable drivers we buy, so this is ideal. I feel I can shape/move it, the numbers came out better than my current driver (Cobra F9) 15/20 yds better, greater swing speed (lighter shaft). My go to driver when not hitting well is a TM Burner, thats just great to hit, but the spin rates are through the roof with it. This is the closest I've got to having the same sensation/feel as that Burner, needless to say its now in the bag. I had no issue buying a driver that has Cleveland on it (the price point is so competitive), but I'm slightly biased towards Cleveland, given I having their wedges and also one of their Huntington Beach putters, which are very underrated. Recommend testing this driver out.

My kids bought me this driver a few years ago for Fathers Day and without even a practice swing, I drove the ball straight down the center of the fairway. I've been hitting it well ever since and loved the club so much that I bought new Cleveland Halo fairway woods (3 & 5). Those glide rails are awesome. My son was so impressed with my driver, that he used his Christmas money this year and bought the new Cleveland Launcher XL.

Based on your two excellent comparisons Mark/Dan I hit a 9 degree demo last weekend and numbers on range monitor were +12-15 yards longer with as good as dispersion as my G400. It also looks great. Very loud! Going for a proper fitting to try loft options etc. this Friday 👍

I gamed a Cleveland Launcher 460 with the gold shaft, maybe 14ish years ago when I was in high school; I loved the driver back then. The gold shaft gave me some extra swag and I had tons of confidence with that driver. I haven't hit a Cleveland driver since, but I'll be in the market for a new driver in 2020 and I'll give this club a try!

i've had this same 14* Cleveland classic xl 3 wood with the tiniest head for like 10 years. my favorite club of all time. I didn't hit driver for like 7 years until this year because of the confidence i had with that 3 wood. Order the driver to match and could never hit it because it was so long. ended up taking 2 inches off an old r5 as an experiment at the beginning of the year and now i can't stop using this 2005 r5 lol. golf is a wild game.

I had the original HiBore driver in the mid 2000's and absolutely love it. Not as long as modern drivers but still gets played when my current driver fails me. Just ordered one of these and can't wait to get out with it. Also had a set of the original HiBore irons and they actually got me starting to play proper golf shots as they were just so easy to hit. Anyone starting out or struggling I would tell them to play HB irons and not worry about the iffy looks.

Just added last years Launcher HB model on sale for $180USD to the bag. Longer than my Epic by 10 to 15 yards. Love it and the sound. Certainly is louder than most. My playing buddies commented on a couple of drives.... "That sounded like you got it".....and I did. I found it easy to swing this club and hit shots just as you blokes did. The new Turbo looks pretty good. However, I do prefer the smooth featureless crown of last year's model at address. I suspect the performance would be similar between the two. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I feel like I got great value for the money.

I actually gamed the Cleveland Hi-Bore driver. Moved from the northern U.S. from a Donald Ross course with Bent grass everywhere (so you could and should hit it low) to the southern U.S. with Bermuda grass with minimal roll. Not the greatest driver, but it did hit it much higher, which helped me adjust.

I didn't need it adjusted when I was trying drivers out at the pro shop, so having a non adjustable driver made sense to me. Prior to back surgeries (3) I had gamed the Launcher Turbo for 3-4 years and found it to be the best driver (along with Titleist) I had ever used. The distance was excellent and the direction was right on. After recovering (10 years ago) I replaced my stiff shafts with regular and followed the hype and went to Rocketbalz. This video may send me back to Cleveland (not the city).

I have had a Cleveland driver (Launcher going back to 2004/5) and in some ways it was the best driver I've had. Not very forgiving but when you got it right, it went a long way. Since then I've had a Nike, Cobra and currently use a Callaway Epic (1st gen). Also had a couple of different Cleveland fairway woods which I have also rated highly. I still own a Cleveland launcher 5 wood going back to about 2008/9, which has been in the cupboard for a few years, but earlier this year I decided to take it out and try it again. I love the feel off the face and in many ways prefer it to my Callaway Epic 3 wood (set to 4 wood loft). As a brand, I think their drivers and woods have been under rated - or at least are not as popular as perhaps they should be.

Cleveland have been making some of the most gameable clubs for some time now. Not just easy to use but great numbers. Their irons and wedges spin and their drivers don’t over spin. They’re clubs seem to be designed by actual golfers who know what clubs are actually supposed to do. That driver reminds me of the old hibore launcher xls. The sound and even that step up on the crown. Decent driver back in the day and very very loud lol

Had the hibore xl and the launcher sl. Great drivers, and really everyone on the course should hear that I just tee'd off. The louder the better

Used the HiBore XL driver back in the day. Perhaps around 09. Was long and accurate and loud. Just like this one!

Absolutely yes!!!! I've had a Cleveland DST for sometime and I range between Euphoria and rage...... often. Need a lesson.

I got fitted for a cleveland classic driver many years ago and its still the best driver I ever had gutted I got rid of it because I've never replicated the performance.

I just recently moved on from a Cleveland SL290. It was a great driver and also had that loud ping sound. I used it for around 5 years.

I just got done testing 5 clubs and this is the one I ended up walking out of the door with. I would miss hit the other drivers from time to time and spray it left or right. I think I swung this one 20 times and the only miss hit I had was a low burner that still carried 240 and rolled out just about 260. What really sold me on this one though was how it lined up behind the ball. There was no question in my mind if I had it lined up right. I new before I swung it was going to be a high draw before I even got into the back swing. Not gonna lie the sound had a bit to do with it too. I'm a bit excited for people to turn and be like "what the hell was that? That guy must have destroyed that golf ball."

I use to play the older Cleveland Hybore driver which was about 8 years ago. I thought it was a really good driver back then!👍I would try this new driver for sure.
