It's about 10 years old, but it's straighter and nearly as long as my best shots with the SLDR. I play the Cleveland Driver. The (non) issue with the club is it comes with a glued head. You don’t toy with settings after the initial purchase. It comes with a premium Miyazaki shaft as well and is worth every penny. You need to like the sound. It is easy to manipulate flight. There may be a draw bias, I’ve washed it in my setup.

After many rounds and many headaches I became so frustrated that I gave it away free to a mate who was over the moon but had the exact same experience ! I Switched to the Cleveland HB Turbo, straight of the shelf , no fitting and don't have to work near as hard to get the shot shape I want and to boot at a far better price point ! I am a bit of a golf snob when comes to brand and had doubts about how good it would be in comparison to my preference being TaylorMade, I was more than surprised at how well the HB Turbo performed considering it is not adjustable and Cleveland not being well known for their drivers. They are on the map and if they had the marketing spend that the major players have I think a lot more golfers would make the switch? So... why not play with the weight on the SIM? If you're consistently leaving it a few degrees open too much, slide that weight to the inside a bit to help speed up the rotation. That will adjust the CG of the club, possibly putting it more in-line with the Cleveland, as you admit it's probably a difference in CG that's causing this right? Hence the SIM has an adjustable CG to let you fine-tune the driver to your abilities, so why not try it / take advantage of it? :)

As a consistent fader of the ball (however hard I try to fight it!), any club which has the possibility of increasing that fade to an out and out slice is a no-no. Out of these two it has to be the Cleveland for me. My first proper driver was a Cleveland Classic XL and I hit it until the head fell off 😅

Didn't you guys test the HB Launcher turbo against the M6 before, with the HB turbo kicking the TM's butt? I sold my Cobra F9 after a year of use for $350 AU and bought a Cleveland HB Turbo for $345 Au brand new. Love it! I don't need a Driver that goes right and stays right. I can do that all by myself. I just read the comments below. Just to satisfy the TM fans, why don't you do a video on " can we make the SIM behave" by adjustments. After all, that is what purchasers are promised with adjustable drivers, isn't it?

Launcher all day long. A fading driver is a bad thing to chose for me! God vid again

Interesting point about twistface issues you have Mark. Have a custom fitted M6. ($600aud) It does sit open for me too. However I see a fade, cant see a draw with my driver and so it sitting open and it seeming to be a bit fadey suits my eye. I will say however that when I was testing for 3woods I went for tye Cobra SZ over the SIM because I felt I had to work hard to hit the SIM. 🤷♂️ Interesting that the Cleveland lie angle was was averaging around 5' more toe up than the SIM. How much would that contribute to it being fadier?

Since prices are being questioned between the two, why not question the differences in prices between the Cleveland Launcher and the XXIO, that you are playing, which are owned by the same company?

Can you make a video where you comment on what you think the best driver releases for certain handicap ranges and value have been over the last 3 years or so? Obviously your opinions and numbers would be great.

I was a fan and user of TM from the old Ti bubble 2 and loved my old R11TP but when they started ripping off the sheep with a model every couple of weeks I became less enchanted! M5/6 did nothing for me so went with the TS3 which outperformed them!

I did buy a Launcher HB turbo with Tensei stiff, but later sold it. I just couldn't make the Cleveland work for me...my 2017 M1 440 seemed to do better in the end.
