Been there, ZZ. I can't eat red meat now. Lol. I'm not from where the Lone Star ticks are found, but my family are Truckers, and I had a tick find me while on the road with my Dad when I was a kid.

Edger In-feed: The way you have to walk boards over from the stack immediately to your right, to on top of the in-feed roller edge and across the table, a little 6" flush to roller height fulcrum point projection sticking out to the right could aid in your initial board walking action to leverage upon. You would use this softened fulcrum point instead of the edge of the in-feed roller. It's more of a bridge point to your stack and it doesn't have to stick out all that far. You could make it fold/slide away so it doesn't always stick out proud of the in-feed table to not hang a hip on walking close to the edger as space can get tight.

It's really cool to me that you can get viewers from all over the world. Sometimes through the comments I learn something new about processes from far away lands. That is some mighty fine looking oak. I'm already looking forward to the Friday video and I haven't even started Monday yet. 😊 Then there's that "victim" thing again.... Well, at least you treat the victims well!!

Wow now that's a beautiful stick of white oak. I can think of several projects it would work on. I enjoy watching your channel and the way you handle the tools on the mill. As for the next victim statement I have zero problems with it. People have become so thin skinned they let little nothings bother them. Mark just ignore them and be yourself because you cannot please everyone all the time. It's hard enough to just please our wives at times. God bless you and Mr. Eddie.

Mark, would a foot operated switch work better to turn on the edger conveyor belt when needed? This way both hands are free to line up and guide the board into the edger. Just a thought. Beautiful white oak! My favorite of the oak family. Great video! Jim

Just a passive comment from me, seems like feast or famine there with your help, some day just you and Eddie and a day like this more help than you need. Maybe it's just me but you seem to have to make a lot of movements setting up your board for edging. Please don't think I'm critisizing You'be come a long ways in the 3 years I've been watching you, you're right at the top of these channels I'm subscribed to, Just a missing note, I do miss Iron oak sawmills, I hope Deb is doing ok.

I know, I feel the same. I used to run a mill so have experience of milling timber. I guess we all just do things differently. I'm always counting boards from the knees out so the waste is always taken off the poorer face first, leaving a set number of whole boards in the cant, but Mark does it differently. It doesn't mean one method is wrong, just different, and it's how one person prefers to run the mill, as opposed to a different way that suits someone else. I do end up shouting at the screen 'Don't turn it yet' sometimes, though!🙄🙂

I heard you say that one of your other channel fans suggested that you name the the dogs on the saw. I have four suggestions, and they are known KZbin dog stars 1) “Homeless” from the KZbin channel cutting edge engineering Australia channel. Of course, he should be the master dog. 2) “Zoomy” and his older sister, “Boo-Boo” from RxCKSTxR channel 3) “Bailey” from The funny dog Bailey channel
