Congratulations on 20-K. I'll be happy to come down and share some of this stimulus $$ and take some of that farm grade/Fence boards off your hands. These long legged beavers (Horse's) we have could use some new stall boards also. I love watching a saw mill in action. Takes me back to the days of owning my log truck 30 yrs ago.

I am sure they wonder what I am doing but like dad said, every little bit helps. I have lost a friend to cancer and two to this pandemic so maybe that fills the bad in threes, I certainly hope so. Thinking after it looked so nice cleaned up.... I think you see where I am going... the entro needs to be updated since it looks so nice even if your still catching over flow from trim therel/LOL. mark galicic I don’t believe so but I’ve known a lot of folks very much like him. I’ve really become intrigued with your mill and general operation. When my folks were building their house in the 80’s, we cut a bunch of cherry off a cousin’s farm. We had the Neiderhisers mill it on an old outfit they had re-furbished on the family farm on Rt 711S, about 10 miles out of Ligonier. We did about 2000 bf one Saturday. In as much as I was drafted as the log Turner, did not have much opportunity to really view and appreciate the operation. Much of the wood was turned into v groove paneling and trim as well as butcher block countertops. I’ve become real curious about where your mill is and would love to pay a visit if you would entertain such a thing. I’d even volunteer to assist with some of the additional construction. I don’t claim to be a full blown carpenter but I’ve been known to swing a hammer now and then. In addition I have most of a truck full of DEWALT 20 volt tools which might prove helpful. My email is dalrr1@comcast.net.

Mark, I've allways wanted to ask you about the carriage, I know you can go slower if need be, but is there a limit speed when you feed it into the saw? I know you dont want to cut too slow or too fast as k assume it would heat up the saw and possibly cause the saw to warp

Congratulations on 20k. How has the new 56-inch saw working out. Have you noticed much power loss? I checked the size of my saw. It is a 50-inch diameter. What rpm are you running? I noticed in one of your shots the new belts looked a little loose. You may want to check them now that you have cut some wood. Keep up the good work. Eric S. Duck

Why don't you put some double sided tape and a small metal wedge on the red kerf guide behind the saw so the board falls over all the time ? Just an idea Mark ! :-)

A building full of snakes would be a problem for me. I'd stand and watch a grizzly do a bluff charge on me before I'd go around snakes. That's the great thing about Alaska, no snakes unless some deluded person has them for pets. Have a great day.
