I've been a veterinarian for about eight years now. When a dog struggles during euthanasia I tell them "You won't live in the same world as Markiplier anymore" and they will go peacefully with a smile on their face and an ear to my lap as to say 'I needed to hear that'. I've learned never to tell them before the appointed "time" because they'll refuse to leave my office. It's really sad to see.
