It doesn't though... those were just games invented by an indie developer, as mentioned in FNAF Help Wanted. Never happened... (jk, more like sweeped under the rug, but still.) And the lore found throughout the mall suggests that there's been many problems and lawsuits because of lack of safety; so it does makes sense to have a ton of security bots - especially with a "thief/intruder" in a bunny suit running around and since it is the night shift.

When you first get Freddy out if his room, abd go back to look at the other animatronics, they're...well, they just seem very off. Plus don't leave the Daycare unless you get the item in there.
