Mostly because it is considered an illegal move in Uno because the person could have played let's say a blue but instead used the wild so they have to get punished for it. (If that makes sense.)

No the challenge works when someone plays a wild card, and if they could have played another card instead of that, they would lose the challenge. It doesn't have anything to do with what color you change it too. Mark kept thinking it was that, and it kept screwing him over when he ends up drawing 6, because the person who drew the wild card had to play it, just like he did with that one.

I was wondering the same thing but thing could have been due to multiple reasons. It may just be a simple mistake, and Mark didn't realise it. The video or audio may have had an issue and the video was just continued on from that point. Most likely, there was just something that he had no other option but to cut it out. It's also worth mentioning that the video jump cuts at the exact same time in jacks one. But honestly, does it really matter? I don't think we missed much anyway :)
