@@impishrebel5969 Oh they probably did, but they're still kids. Dating as a kid and dating as an adult are two different things. 1. You're more mature and experienced as an adult and thing you would've let slide as a kid, you actually see for what they are and 2. People are still developing from 18 to 25. Sure, not as dramatically as puberty, but they're still cooking, so, let em cook. It's probably better for high school sweethearts to wait a bit before biting the big bullet of marriage (yeah, even if they have a kid). You never know the effects that frontal lobe development will have on your life outlook.💁‍♂️

That was adorable. I've actually heard the very first part somewhere, but had no idea that it had gotten so... Hallmark-y. Because yes, that was definitely a Hallmark movie. In fact, someone should send this series of posts to Hallmark. Seeing this whole situation turned into a movie complete with them both posting about it online and the Redditors finally telling Dan about Hope's posts... that would be hilarious. Bonus points if the movie includes Heena's idea of them getting married and inviting the Redditors who spilled the beans to Dan about Hope's posts.

@ZoeAlleyne Being diagnosed, doesn't necessarily mean the end. It means there's a journey to be had and that no matter how it ends, there's an opportunity to soak in every moment ... some moments that others might consider bad/ hard. I wish you both the strength to find happiness in this as well as your partner an extremely, speedy recovery. This might be a bit cheesey but as my mother used to say ... 'in those moments of alone-ness, look up at the moon ( or Sun ...she only said moon, I'm adding) and know that you're not alone'. You're both being thought of and good vibes have and are being Sent. Take care and take care of you.

There is always hope that it does get better, even though people might tell you different. The human body is a miracle worker itself and can take and recover from a lot. Of course there will most likely be treatment necessary, but there are quite a few cases of people beating even what were said to be uncurable illnesses. Or at the very least of keeping them at bay for many years. Take care of yourselves, physically and mentally as well. I wish you and your partner all the luck in the world.

*Story 1 OP:* I feel badly for OP. I understand what it’s like to lose someone you love. I lost my best friend to a brain tumor (also 10 years ago) and I miss her everyday. OP, consider Jason a blessing in disguise. Maybe OP’s husband sent him there to take care of OP and to be happy. Because her husband would always want their partner to be happy even when they’re no longer there. Don’t self sabotage yourself OP, let your feelings flow and don’t bottle yourself up. I know you’re hurting, but when there is darkness there is light at the end of the tunnel. Talk to Jason, and see where this journey takes you. Good luck OP, wishing you the best. ❤

Story 1: I’m not finished yet I just want to say I wish Hope well man. It’s so sad. It’s okay to fall in love with someone else and doesn’t mean you are betraying or leaving the late husband behind. You can add another ring to his and have them both there to symbolise the two loves of your life. You don’t have to remove the late husbands ring (both metaphorically and literally) to find another. Honestly I don’t think it needs a “comparison”

Ok, Reddit should definitely push to get this made into a romcom, reddit posts and all. There are plenty of Hallmark type stories on Reddit, but this is the first I've seen where Reddit played a direct roll in them getting together in the end. Seriously, some Reddit plays a role, comments like "go for it" or "take the leap" etc, but this was a much more direct way.

Awwww! Loved this story! I hope that they both, along with their beautiful girls and the furry Jason, have a long, romantic, lovely relationship, family life and hopefully a marriage together. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💕🐾

Loved this story so much better than I expected. I thought it was going to be one I heard before of a woman letting a co-worker move in, then going psycho. She felt like she had dibs on him because she let him move in and got super possessive.

I think Hope is intuitive and felt on a deeper level than she was consciously in touch with that Jason waste man for her. That is what lead her to expose herself and open her home to Jason and his girls in the first place. Intuition can be a powerful guiding force in our lives if we only learn to listen to it.

Betty Davis may have said whatever. Mercedes Lackey said, (paraphrasing), "Just because you attended the most amazing feast, tasted the most delicious meal, doesn't mean you'll never eat again." So glad these two found each other, posted on reddit, and found each other again.

This is totally a romcom that should be made into a short film...but I lost it at the "teeth" bit. I couldn't stop laughing so hard, and then being names after a cat! I scared my own by laughing even louder. If this gets made into a short film, those parts better be in there!

AWWW 😁this story had me swooning, swaying , cheesing, and squealing with concern and delight. Not many people have found a great love but Hope was blessed with two. some of us can only experience this through fairytales, Disney, Pixar and the crew, hallmark, romance novels, some raunchy/erotica novels if we want something spicy. All the best to them.❤
