I think it's a little more to it than that. I think the mom knows SS was texting cbf during the relationship with her current fiance. Story 1: Can’t say as I’m surprised things went the way they did. The petty part of me is glad that step-sis found out and got wrecked, but I figure the real villain in all of this is the mother. I get that we can’t always control who we fall for, but mom leading the charge to demand OP “grow up” and be cool with step sis’s relationship was gross, and her actions after OP approached her mom to explain things and have a heart-to-heart is somehow even worse. OP would be hard pressed to ever have enemies who would treat her worse than her family did. Story 2: Sometimes you get crushes on folks you shouldn’t, but a crush isn’t love, and it sure as hell isn’t something to indulge in when the person you’re crushing on is married. The fact that this has happened multiple times tells me that this guy is a dirtbag who never got past his immature teenage years. His wife sounds like she has been emotionally abused and I really feel for her. OP and his wife did the right thing, and hopefully they will also be able to help dirtbag’s wife leave him when she is ready.

Story 1: If your family threatens you with going no contact over something like not going to a wedding, not doing Christmas, etc. the only thing you can do is ghost them first. "If you don't come, you are kicked out of the family!" Don't reply. Don't say "ok". Just hang up on them or walk out and never speak to them again if possible. Threats mean a relationship is already dead.

Story 1: If SS needed OP at the wedding to smooth over relations with the family... then exactly how is mom supposed to cut you off from the family. Seems like you should just leave the barn door open on the way out. 1. Tell all the family what SS did. If they were having doubts about attending the wedding because of SS cheating on OP... no reason not to make everything public. 2. Tell the family you are dating CB and for how long. Tell the family and his family that she broke down at your house because she saw you were dating CB despite her current fiance being with her. i.e. she still loves this guy. 3. Have a lawyer send a letter to your mom about the threat to break you and CB up and state that if she contacts you or the boyfriend or attempts to carry out said threat, you will seek a restraining order. Post that letter publicly to friends and family. 4. Block your mom and SIL from all social media, phone, etc. Ask CB to do that same thing. 5. Contact all your family members and ask them if they wish to continue having contact with you or not, but that you can't have any contact with your mom at this point. Leave crazy behind, but if your mom and SS need you at the wedding to smooth things over and then to be quiet about this... clearly they know the rest of the family are not united and you should do the opposite of what they want and let everyone know.

Get cameras installed from the outside (for the SS), and some form of a security system in the home too, until the move happens. Some dog breeds might be useful here. 8. When it comes to moving to a different city, go to one in a different time zone... and don't forget those cameras and indoor security system! 9. After the move, DO NOT let anyone in the family know of the new address that are known to relay that info to the Psychopathic Duo (Egg Donor & SS). This sounds like a story that needs to be told lol. My wife runs into situations like this from time to time at work at the hospital from new Doctor hires. They usually back off pretty quick when the other nurses clue the Doctors into the fact that the 6'7" 265 lb muscular guy with 4 deployments to Iraq walking the halls of the hospital is her husband lol. Little do they know my 5'10" 135 lb wife is a High-Level Black Belt in 3 different Martial Arts Disciplines and can kick my *ss if she wants to LOL. We did have a couple of friends that had an issue very similar to this. One of the couples, unknown to all of us were into swinging and swapping and tried to get another of our longtime friend couples into joining them. They apparently really had a crush on this other couple for quite some time. They brought the subject of swapping up, how they really loved this other couple, and the other couple mistakenly wrote it off as a drunken joke. So they played along and said ya, we should do it sometime and maybe get a few of the other couples involved hahaha. Well, the couple that suggested it took that as a "Yes" and later in the night made their move on the other couple as the pool party was winding down. The wife had just finished working 3 - 12 hour night shifts the day of the party and with the help of the few drinks she had, was falling asleep on a recliner chair by the pool when the hubby of the main couple made his move. When the sleeping lady's hubby saw the guy sticking his hands down her shorts and stuck his fingers in her vajayjay and she screamed, all hell broke loose. It ended up with cops called (some of the people at the party were cops anyway) and several ambulances were needed because the fight that followed became a melee lol. I was glad my wife and I had already left for home and weren't involved in it. Needless to say, a few of the couples at that party were no longer invited to any further functions lol. The main couple that started this all tried to write it off as a "miscommunication" of epic drunken proportions to the Judge but he wasn't buying it. The guy actually got some jail time for sexual assault and obviously, lost his job at the hospital as an administrator. This stupid couple even continued to try and pursue the woman to leave her hubby and come live with them, actually the wife, until the hubby got out of jail. They had to get a Restraining Order against them. Ironically, while the guy was in jail for like 6 months, his wife hooked up with several dudes and ran off out of the area with one of them and we never saw her again. When the hubby got out of jail, he too took off and no one ever heard from him again.

On any cheater story when a baby is announced: My go-to is always "Who's the father?" or "Who else did you knock up?". It's just priceless how offended the cheaters get. Bonus: Going full petty is also always fun. Like: Showing up and being on your phone the entire time. And be open about "Oh, I don't support this. I'm just here because [family] held me at gunpoint to show up or be written out of the will.". First story. OP’s boyfriend is 100% responsible for allowing the texting and messaging from SS. OP needs to stop letting these dudes treat her this way. It isn’t her fault. I understand it’s difficult and she’s not the one doing anything wrong. But if your boyfriend didn’t immediately block SS and tell you what’s up, that’s another can of worms. Story 1: Crazy! I'm not convinced that Ex did not cheat with SS. However, it doesn't matter because SS should not have dated ex at all. I have a little story. Years ago a family friend used to give our kids, along with his kids and other karate lessons at their home. One Friday after classes we watched a boxing match and other people came over. There was this one couple who was friends with friends of ours, and I never cared for either one of them. Well, as the night progressed and we all had a little bit of alcohol in us this guy hit on me! I was shocked because he knew I was married and knew my husband could pound him into a tiny grain of sand if he chose to. I told his wife right away and she just shrugged it off. I was really surprised. Then, about three years later, our friends broke up. He had been cheating with... Guess who? Yeah, the creeps wife. Her and my friend had been besties for years too. I had read this story before the updates and got more info from OP's comments. OP's CB had asked her out years ago, but she didn't accept.
