Turn your idea into a business today with Shopify: shopify.com/mar...
Thanks to for the great drone work to: www.spacemonke...
Thanks to my friends at Sheet Music Boss for coming back and helping Chopstix learn to play the song- / @sheetmusicboss
My brother Brian built me the arcade just cause he's such a nice brother but his friend helped with some of the electronics. I always pay people who help me on a video but in lieu of payment his friend asked to post this link instead to their Bear Lake Cabin website they rent out. I'm told it's a great destination for large family gatherings- bearlakesilo.com/
Thanks to these folks for providing some of the music in the video:

Guys like Mark are why I wish KZbin was around when I was a kid. I may not have ended up as an engineer, but he’s a brilliant role model. His best lesson has always been that just because you fail doesn’t mean you have to quit. Being able to work through the failure and push towards success and find solutions is a lesson that can be used in any part of life. Hats off to this guy, no KZbinr deserves more success than him.

@@Andy-gti well you could also imagine that to pay to make a lot of his projects, his team, living expanses, business expanses, etc. Would cost significantly more than $70k. He is similar to Mr.Beast where he puts his revenue back into his ideas and projects and thats what makes him and people alike stand out. It's also interesting to note (as evidence to my statement) that over the last years, his growth has obviously brought him a bigger financial success which in return also made his projects bigger in size and quality

I wonder if you could make one of those pneumatic pulley systems that work both ways or if it would need something else for you to be able to hold on to the rope and get pulled up instead of falling down slowly. Like if there was also a rope with a Winch that pulled you up. You could use that invention to descend into Mines and Ascend from them as a different way to go up and down for emergencies. An elevator is better of course though.

So I did some maths and for the target I think you need to aim at about 0.4122 meter about the target. My method for working Screen record a shot at the target and get the time it intakes to hit the target then use that as t which was .42 seconds divid by two as we will be getting the descent half.then do 1/2x9.81 (the gravitational constant for acceleration) x t^2 which is = to 0.2061 then x by two as that is the distance from the half way point which is 0.4122 m for horizontal aim just be dead centre (assuming no wind. This was done without air resistance as I don’t know how to calculate that.

I had one like this. Mr. Martin taught biology. He was animated, had a passion for his subject, plus... He let us take our final home the Friday before our test date, then he covered all the windows with brown paper and let us watch Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons while he graded our tests and did the math for our final grades. If we were low, he allowed us to write a short paper on a subject of his choosing to have turned in by the end of the day. If you turned it in, whatever you wrote, he upped your final grade by one letter grade. I already had an A in the class, but a few of my friends took advantage to get a B from a C. His class was fun and informative and I learned more than I thought I did. It was great!

For safety reasons, you should get some antique railroad lanterns that light green or red to let you know if the foam pit is installed in that particular place. Otherwise, someone's muscle memory might lead them to leap off without foam to catch them. But if checking the light is green first was part of the routine, this wouldn't happen. The floor would of course detect if the foam bin is parked there and communicate this to the lanterns.

Work hard and do great things. I am a physician. I was an aerospace engineering major in college before I switched over to pre-med. Was always my dream to be an astronaut. Remember, perseverance, hard work, and the ability to self-learn overcomes and outperforms natural intellect 100% of the time if you want it badly enough. Work ethic is everything. Stay strong, and don't get discouraged. Remember your goals and don't forget them when it seems like they get lost in the pre-requisite curriculum during your first two years. You won't excel in everything. That's normal, and don't let it discourage you. That's not what matters. Never give up on yourself. Goals and work ethic are what matters. If you want it badly enough, you will have it.

To keep this sufficiently simple to hopefully offer, translated booklets could be provided as downloadable files. KZbin already supports subtitles in different languages, so that could also be online content. This means all the boxes could stay the same, and whoever wants to can access the localized content online. It'd be huge to allow non-english speaking kids to explore science with your boxes, too (without requiring a knowledgeable translator with enough time to spare nearby).

@@SocksAndPuppets I would imagine that at first, a kit would come once every 2-3 months as they would be intricately designed and would take longer to build. Even 1 or 2 advanced builds would be an incredible start for adults to get into engineering. I’ve considered becoming an engineer myself recently but I don’t know many places that i can start. I think the best way would be to dive into a practical build to experience engineering first hand!

I think including a bunch of spare parts would be very useful to teach kids not to panic when something doesn't work the first time or breaks

I have built lots of projects which failed at first test. I made them all work properly after replacing parts or rewiring something.

spare parts is where the "ka-ching" factor comes in for them i think.

You are my favorite person EVER. For reference...I'm a kid's entertainer, educator, videographer. And you are far and away everything I would ever hope for to achieve and to aspire to times 100. I'm just so glad you exist to do all of the things and inspire all of the kids in the most playful manner that so many just do not comprehend is necessary. I'm going to keep doing my thing, but I feel better that there are people like you out there with such a playful spirit, inspiring kids to create, explore and have fun. You rock, brother.

He does also ship the boxes internationally. You will then get the shipping and handling charges for which country you want it sent to. At least it said so in the FAQs on his Crunchlabs webpage. 😉
