I thought being a Christian ment no boundaries “love everyone” right! Turn the other cheek! What I was doing was setting myself up to be hurt and people please. You need to be kind, loving and direct. That’s actually how Jesus was, he isn’t a doormat. Even his going to the cross was intention not him being at the mercy of anyone.

If we are being persecuted for our faith, that is when we are supposed to turn the other cheek. Although as far as day-to-day life goes in working with people. Setting limits and boundaries with others is completely scripture.
