For some fields school is very important. Surgeon, lawyer, maybe even engineers. The little things you do in school contribute on your brain training, the way you think, your analytical mind. You think this way because the education system in USA is very bad, so there has little impact on the young. I was born in the communist Romania where school was tough. I can't say it was 100% good, but I can't deny the impact on the way I think. The fact you that you become rich has to do with a lot of other factors. If everyone sells stuff, no one will be rich, because there would ne nothing to sell. All the people on this planet cannot become rich in the same time. Also all the people on this planet cannot be salers, or brokers, etc. Someone has to produce the things we use, someone has to build the world. Many people became rich on the back of others because the system allowed them, then they come and say school doesn't matter, because they've made money and that's everything. Being useful for the society and becoming rich are two totally different things. A good School matters. It will not determine everything, it must come from you as well, you can't count just on the school, but it's important.

I finished highschool with a 2.5 gpa. I’m in college now about to finish with high honors and a degree that I very much enjoy. No debt, fully paid for by scholarships and money I’ve made. I don’t believe school is necessary for anyone but I think it is a great option if you feel as though you will get something out of it and really enjoy what you are doing and the plans you have for your future. And I promise you that a college education when done right is much better than any grade school education. Not only do you have more specialized teachings, you have more resources, connections to your career path, and help finding a career that you want. Like I said though, you definitely don’t need it. But every single person is different with their own goals and personal situations.

Although I partially agree - Don’t let survivorship bias cloud your judgement, don’t let this be an excuse to just give up. Putting it harshly, this guy is a rare example of someone successful who happened to leave school early. Think about everyone else who regrets their decision to leave school right now. Then decide if it’s the right decision for you.

@@ronanconroy7672 grinding for 35 years isn't luck but the mindset that school has enforced into you makes you think that most successful school dropouts are lucky but those just sitting there weaping and moaning about drooping out blaming the past for their failures are a reason why this successful man is wrong is pathetic. Let those hopeless people who were meant to fail even after completing school do what this guy did and let's see what happens.

Statistically most entrepreneurs fail, you do have to be very lucky to end up a multi millionaire from it. Hard work improves your chances but realistically if you want to work hard you're more likely to become a multi millionaire by becoming a doctor or engineer. @@zenkaienergy3135

true but not true. also think of everyone who did finish school and may as well not have. most do finish school and go nowhere in life. FYI, i'm a drop out and not a massive success, but i don't regret not doing well in school. i am on a path of self learning and business. i thought i was a failure but it was school that failed me. not me that failed school. i'm actually doing pretty well self learning and i'm try my best in business. if all fails, i can use my skills to land a job. life does suck tbh. it is what it is. school is not the be all end all.

Dear Sir, we dont took education for money or for a Job. We took education for personal development to discover ourselves and to Be Creative for the world. All money will be rest in world but the act and deeds we learnt from education will benefit us for the eternity. May God bless you Sir. Ameen.
