@@markwiemelsTwo questions Sir, if you can help me, 1.) Is it RØDE WIRELESS GO 2 mic. with RØDE LAVALIER GO good for the recording inside (in studio)?! 2. Which budget friendly GIMBAL you will recommend to me to buy for the recording inside, but to have option to focus and to follow small object at the screen like as small vaping accessories (RBA, RPGA, RDA, MOD's, BORO's stuff etc.), will be ZHIYUN WEEBILL S good for that, because I bought led light and stand for that led lamp by GODOX (65W RGB & BI-COLOR led light) which is new around 300e (second-hand in mint condition 200e) or to go with ZHIYUN WEEBILL 3S COMBO which is 390e? Thank you for all the great suggestions in your very helpful video! I just got the Peak Design camera strap, and it is really comfortable. I went for a hike today, and the strap made it possible for me to hike without having to have my camera and lens banging around everywhere. It really makes a difference. I have the EF to RF adapter with the filter system, and it's great. I wondered how sturdy it would be, but no worries - it's well made.

Excellent video for options to possible add on to the Canon R7. I like the pace and your information is too the point and not a lot of fluff to the purpose of your video posting. You provided some good accessories and first person knowledge for mostly pro’s of the possible add-on’s. One caveat is the ending I thought was a bit Cluckey to how the rest of the video was presented. Otherwise excellent for providing options to use with the R7. By chance do you ever use a wireless remote device for hands free operation of the camera and how well they will work? I believe the ones I have seen on websites are Bluetooth models. Thanks best to you and other postings. Really liked this one!

Hey, wow an R7 from my favorite ef m reviewer (m6ii owner here). I just got an R7 despite me wanting to boycott the R mount until Canon allows 3rd party lenses. Well, the adapter let’s me use my ef lens fine (also have a 6d) so went for the R7 for the animal eye focus. I find the Sigma 150-600 works just fine too. I gotta look at that strap system.
@neil2252 Жыл бұрын
Hi, I’m also an m6ii owner. Have you found the change to the r7 a worthwhile upgrade? I cant change cameras often(£$), so it would be a big investment for me. Have you found any drawbacks after getting the r7 over the m6ii?
@zavman109 Жыл бұрын
@@neil2252 sorry I am slow on the answer. The R7 has a number of advantages in that the animal eye focus and such is a game changer for me. It really nails the focus on birds for me. Even with a sigma ef mount lens. The battery is great, the size is more ergo and two card slots. If I was limited in funds and not into animals I wouldn’t have much reason to upgrade I guess.

Hello Sir, nice review, I bought everything which you are suggest except the SmallRig Cage or any other cage for my Canon EOS R7 and some cheaper gimbal (stabilizator) for my R7 with lens, microphone, cage, etc. which can be useful for me for the recording small stuff from "bird perspective" or from 45° degree on small recording area (70cm x 40cm) which the distance from lens to the farthest point of the shooting is about 70-80cm,maybe less... Which gimbal you will suggest to me and which lens will be good for the recording in this condition (I have RF NIFTY FIFTY, RF-S 18-150MM F3.5-6.3 IS STM which was been kit objective and I've bought RF 15-30mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM) but I planning to buy EF/EF-S lens adapter, by your recommendation from Artisan, and also can be EF or EF-S lens...?! Thank's a lot Sir and greetings from the Serbia...

Hello Mark, i need your help if is it possible.. Recently i sold my Lumix S5 because i don't like so much the AF and also, is not-necessary ( to me ) have an a fullframe camera.. ( atleast, at the moment ) So, like i said, i sold it, and then , now i have money to get another camera.. I am looking for the best money/quality camera, as usual.. that's what all we want.. Then, watching YT vídeos i find this one and i have doubts about wich cameras i should buy, Canon Eos R7 and Sony Zve10.. I can buy the sony about 650€ plus 500 more or less about 11mm f1.8 lens.. 1150€ +/- Then the Canon is about 1550€ body+18-150mm+EF adaptor + 2battery extra. ( i want to sold the 18-150mm after then buy the 16mm f2.8 ) What do you think.. wich one do you recommend more.. The money is not the problem because i sold the S5 more than the price of the canon.. so i can buy one of this without problem.. thanks!

The way to adapt lenses is NOT to buy an M42 to R adapter. Rather, buy a Canon EF to R adapter, and then use an M42 to EF adapter. You can get other adapter rings, all to Canon EF mount, , for Nikon, Contax/ Yashica, Olympus OM, and Pentax bayonet, and I may have forgotten one or two. All those adapters are inexpensive, and then the only ones you must buy "dedicated" are the ones such as the old Canon FL/ FD.

Did someone ever break, scratch or otherwise damage the screen of their camera in normal use?
@markwiemels2 жыл бұрын
All the time, it's the most common camera damage and repair. It should be noted, the screens are not the high tech super hard glass like phones, they are much more fragile.

IN NO WAY WHAT SO EVER - NENER EVER wipe dirt off of your lens with your T SHIRT !!! It is probably not clean anyway so it wraps dirt, dust, sweat, maybe some oil, etc. on the front element glass of your lens!!! Plus, it is made of cotton (hopefully, at least use cotton) FIBER which makes MICRO SCRATCHES on the glass. Instead, you should use only a MICROFIBER CLOTH to clean your lens!!! the MICRO fibers do not scratch the glass!!!

Not trying to be rude but who is this video for? The person buying a $1500 - $2000 camera as there first camera? Honestly was looking for some next level gear to use. Most people buying this camera will probably be upgrading from something like an m6.
@markwiemels2 жыл бұрын
There is a law a diminishing returns, for me, the gear in this video sits at the point where the gear starts to get much more expensive, but not much better. Which is where I think the R7 sits as well. So I could recommend more expensive gear, and I have more expensive gear, but I think this gear pairs up will with the value of the R7.
@blackduncan98122 жыл бұрын
@@markwiemels understandable. That's pretty much what happens when you start creeping into the upper levels of anything. The more you spend doesn't necessarily correlate with value added. BTW I did like the ND/ filter adapter that sits between the lens and sensor. I just wanted more of that like a good fluid head, matte box, telly converters, reflectors, ect...
