You reminded me of Princess Diana when You, Micha and. Ying interacted with people and the kids of Kenya. It is not about how much you will gain from your vlogs but how many friends you will gather on every country you visited. I highly recommend your family to be recognized by UN and made you all as family ambassadors of goodwill. It’s really nice of your family to interact with different people from different cultures around the world. I pray for your safety and health. God bless you all!

I must be honest, I would be a bit nervous going into some of the areas Mark goes into. The 2nd and 3rd places/restaurants meat looked okay. The fight most likely broke out because they are probably not used to tourists in their communities. Mark should also show some of the built-up areas in Kenya in order to give a well-rounded representation of street food, restaurant food and food in town built-up urban areas that have shopping centres etc. These guys loved being filmed on video. Thank you for going into these areas Mark. Many Africans themselves wouldn't. It should be like this though. Maybe there are tours into these communities. I'd be a little nervous eating certain foods there. Mark, you're a great sport.There is no one like you. Thank you. This warmed my heart.

Claire, that commotion you saw while they entered the market is common to everyone who enters the market. They are purposely placed their to draw whoever enters the market to their stalls. There are too many vendors and so the owners resorted to soliciting for customers at the entrance

Not many main tours would go into these areas. Especially paid ones. Given Africa's safety and crime rate. The tourists going to Kenya would go to Kenya's main attractions.

Watch at your own risk. You should know that not every country in the world has the same culture and you know what im talking about. The hell if you cant stand what your watching then skip the vid. Like you can wait for other vid series from mark. Just because your lifestyle and your environment is diff than this people doesnt mean you are better than them. Thumbs up to mark wiens for being able to immerse himself to the locals, huge respect for him cause he makes sure that he isnt disrespecting anyone nor anything on his vlogs. His video is about pure positivity so why cant you just be like him? Cause even if yah rant about the dirt, sanitation, germs and what not still these people are beautiful and hey thats just their way of life. Life is so unfair to others so be considerate and be mindful of what you say. Geeez the heck is wrong with ya'll, their food aint killin no one and mark is perfectly fine.

@tanzanianboy4 жыл бұрын
Swahili (spoken in East Africa) is the Bantu language although it has been somehow influenced by some other foreign languages. Even your name (Khuleka) means "to let" or "to leave" in some other Bantu tribal languages in Tanzania. I have a friend who is called "Matungwa", almost similar to your surname
@juliusmusomba51313 жыл бұрын
Khuleka, locally "Kueka", also means "to let" or "to let be" in Kenyan bantu languages and the Kenyan Kamba language version of Mtungwa is Mutungwa meaning " the returned one". Mark Wiens is always great at doing what he does. Keep it up!!

Another awesome video Mark! Those costumes by Gikosh Aviation are definitely creative! One of the costumes reminded me of the Ghostbusters' Ecto-Suit! The food is interesting as always! Looking forward to the next video bro'! More power and God bless from the Philippines!

This goes to Mark Wiens and the crew: Today I had the pleasure to visit Kenyatta Market in Nairobi, the same place you had the Nyama Choma, and surprising enough, those guys treasure every moment you shared with them. The meat seller was like, yule mzungu naomba arudi tena, (that white guy should come back). Seems his business is doing much better after your visit. We even watched the youtube video together.

So, it seems they haven't yet got the concept of "personal space" over there. My anxiety was having a ball, watching that. You're a brave man, Mark. Do you have security or anything?

Mark I just got back from Kenya. Your video is the real deal. At first, I was taken aback by the environment. Then, I just learned to go with the flow and relax. It’s a third world country. We as Americans can be so ignorant sometimes. The people were lovely. I was humbled by their hospitality and kindness. And yes, there were hustlers but you can get hustled in New York, LA, Detroit, etc. I love the authenticity of your video and your kindness as a guest in someone else’s country. Much respect to you!
