I’m totally amazed by how Mark makes a living traveling and eating. I really appreciate that he does it for love of good food. Nothing matters more than good food except friends and family. He’s right; food binds us. We’re all connected with food and home and family. And even if we’re not so blessed, with luck we can share a meal with a new friend. Food binds us, and especially amazingly good food, yum.

Chinatowns are usually "tempered" by the food quality of the host country, so when you go to San Francisco or New York... American food has "dumbed down" the Chinese food so it is hardly edible... BUT in Thailand, the sheer brilliance of the local Thai cuisine enhances the quality and taste of the Chinese food, such that this is possibly the best Chinatown food anywhere in the world! Thank you Mark, you are a legend... (CSCELR is now a thing!! Chew, smile, close eyes, lean right) every time I visit Thailand I double the number of days either side of "work" reserved for street food, etc...
