This was the ultimate Romanian medieval BBQ meat feast. Huge thank you to Nassim ( / romania_foodtours ) and Cristian ( / cristian_tudor_microgr... ) for setting up this incredible trip. #Romania #RomaniaFood #bbq
Meat Paradise in Romania at Ferma Dacilor (www.fermadacilor.ro/) - During my trip to Romania, we went to a place called Ferma Dacilor, one of the most unique and special meals and food experiences of my trip to Romania. The entire concept is straight farm to table, where nearly everything they serve, from the meat to the vegetables and seasoning, are grown, produced, and aged, on location at the farm.
Medieval BBQ Cooking - Not only is the food fresh and local, but they strive to cook things in the ancient way, they way their ancestors cooked - over fire, rustic, iron, and huge portions of Romanian food.
Along with the 110 KG pig they roasted whole, one of the highlights for me was trying Mangalica pig, a type of hairy pig that almost looks like a sheep. The fat is said to be quite healthy, with little to no cholesterol. The meat was fatty and delicious.
Huge thank you to Cornelo and his entire family for hosting us and for making our time at Ferma Dacilor so memorable. One of the best Romanian food experiences!

@@mihai000000 There are a lot of vegan options because the orthodox fasting tradition made people to adapt so we have a lot of vegan as well as vegetarian dishes. Back in the day people(not including rich people and rulers) used to eat meat only on sundays.(especially here in the south).

@@Loraine680 Who cares. No religion was even talked about in this video. Mark got great food made in Romania and the people who were born in Romania were very hospitel. They were very friendly to him. They are on what we would call a Dude Ranch here in the USA. He helped them to promote tourism in their Ranch. So get off the religion kick. And I don't care where or what the cap meant that he had on. The whole staff wore them. Could have been their company motto. The hat looked cute on Mark. So if you want to come onto Marks Blog site and kick up dust. I'm sure he ignores you like everyone else should. Who cares......

I had pork cheeks that were literally melting in my mouth and were absolutely delicious! I also insisted in meeting Cornel, who is in fact the owner, and he was just as nice as he is in this video. I told him I wanted to meet him ever since I saw Mark's video. He sat me down, he offered me wine and he insisted I had a glass of wine with him even though I was about to drive back home.

That serie is also about India, Buddha, Brahma, Jats etc. etc. HERE is that comment I left him: What you did not talk about and very probable you didn't even observed, is that this event was NOT Romanian, but Dacian(!). You even got a cap (a Dacian cap, a.k.a. "Phrygian cap" ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phrygian_cap ) worned also by the Dacian Mitra, Badea Mitra, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitra a.k.a. On their shirts is written Lupii Dacici", they talk about the Daci (reads "Dutch", it's plural of "Dac", in English "Dacian", see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dacians ), so this had to do with DACIAN food, not Romanian food. Dacia is called "Romania"only since a bit more than 1 century ago, and this new fake name was introduced under orders from the Vatican, in the hope that we become catholic, fall under Rome/Vatican jurisdiction and pay him monthly or yearly taxes. The Pope din NOT succeded in making us his slaves! Here ( noiarianiidaci.jouwweb.nl/ ) the history of the World, which contains also China history, and the red Chinese dragon, which is the same as the Dacian Dragon/Draco ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dacian_Draco ), the Dacian Draco is also to be seen in the right hand of the Dacian/Aryan Brahma ( commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:12th_century_Chennakesava_temple_at_Somanathapura,_Karnataka,_India_Lord_Brahma.jpg ) and at Viracocha ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viracocha ), Mithra/Mitra, Badea Mitra, ak.a.

I've left him a comment above, with some links in it. That serie si also about India. Buddha) with the Dacian Draco/Dragon on it. "Buddha Maitreya" ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maitreya) , Odin ( nl.pinterest.com/pin/107242034847492973/?nic_v1=1a8qr2D5UdM6egmVyIbJiAHzdJFOpXJR0ay9hkBL08VXLQuZtBY5xk2estPc005Rvo ) etc..., the She-Wolf (Dacian Draco, alias Tiamat, Isis etc.) being the similar of the Sword (means the LAW), and in the left hand are the 2 Dacian snakes of wisdom, a.k.a "ILUMINATION", a.k.a "The Torch of Wisdom". More about the TRUE HISTORY of the World you can see in the link above, with 2 series in it ( noiarianiidaci.jouwweb.nl/ ). Have a nice day.

@zum zum thats why in Romania unlike other countries, the good food is made at home using what you grow, or buy from the market where elders are selling natural produce, meat and cheese. Restaurants are not the highlight in Romania, they are meant for those who have money and no time and those who can't cook. The further away from the city you go, the better the food and alcohol...

Mai ales ca nu stiu daca te-ai prins dar bucatarii au 'ego' ;). ia uita-te la show-urile cu chefi la cutite. adica, comparativ cu ce show a primit ala care a murit, e diferenta imensa.

Romanians steal history and gastronomy from the Hungarians! Mangalica: Hungharians bred it, in Bakony and Szalonta!(1833) European Union law says: The real pálinka officially made is hungary + 4 austrian province! The first records of the Hungarian spirit date back to the fourteenth century (1332).
